So for the first time I am just on time when a new product
is launched in India, else I am always late in posting about it. Yes, the wait
is over for me as finally Mac Viva Glam Miley 2 launched in India. The
collection consists of a gloss and a lipstick. I was eyeing on both but
unluckily I got to grab only one as the gloss was not launched in my nearby Mac
store.
A little info about MAC VIVA GLAM:-
Every cent of the selling price of MAC VIVA GLAM lipstick
and lipglass is donated to the M.A.C AIDS Fund.
Mac Viva glam Miley Cyrus 2 lipstick is describes as a “bright
orange” with matte finish. The shade is a beautiful coral orange kind of shade
with red undertones. The shade is warm kind of shade which look great on
fair to medium skin beauties mostly.
The texture is although matte but I found it is semi-matte
kind off on my lips, which means it is non-drying on lips and so it don’t dried
out the lips. The lipstick glides smoothly on lips. It is much pigmented. One
or two swipe is enough to get the actual shade on lips.
It stays pretty six hours on my lips with slight fading
after having meal. And not to forget the vanilla scent of the lipstick makes me
feel tempted always. The lipstick leaves a reddish stain on my lips after
fading which took lot of effort to remove.
Miley Cyrus already launched a pink kind Viva Glam lipstick
before (read the review here ), and this one is the second collaboration of Mac with Miley Cyrus. I found this one is much prettier than the previous one as i personally love matte lipstick mostly.
Over in all i like these bright kind off shades as it really brighten up my face. Te red undertone of the lipstick makes it look more wearable particularly at night out. It can be pair up with light smokey eyes for any occasion. The warm kind of orangey red shade suits my yellow undertone skin nicely.

The shade look perfect on me and I am really happy with my
purchase but if you don’t find the shade appealing to you, I would suggest to
look for other viva glam lipsticks as these VIVA GLAM lipsticks are meant to be
for great cause :)
