It has been a long time that I am not much into writing. But today I am up with a very cute collection all from DOSE OF COLOR MINNIE MOUSE COLLECTION palette and liquid lipstick.

MY OPINION:-

I bought this palette during a sale. The palette packaging wise is really pretty. The picture of Minnie all over the palette is really cute and it reminds me of my childhood. The eyeshadows are pigmented and there is almost no fallout. The palette has a mixed texture of matte and shimmer eyeshadow. Overall a cute palette that is must-have in your stash if you are a sucker of packaging.

MY OPINION:-

The liquid lipstick also comes in red packaging with Minnie mouse print on the white cap of it. The packaging of the lipstick is also really cute.

Before I have this lip shade I felt that the Dose of Color liquid lipsticks are not so good on my lips. Few shades that I have from their regular range is a little bit tacky on my lips and so I usually avoid wearing them. But this one look like has a new formula. So it glides smoothly on my lips blurring out all the lip lines and settle down comfort matte on my lips. A dark red( on fair skin tone)/ cherry red(on medium to dusky skin tone) shade that will look beautiful across all complexion.

Overall a cute packaging with awesome quality of palette and liquid lipstick. I really like this collection and totally love it.

REVIEW OF SWATCHES OF DOSE OF COLORS HOLIBAE SET

 "A good lipstick has the power of dress up to our lips"...

Today I am going to share my thoughts over DOSE OF COLORS HOLIBAE set. The set was launched during last holiday but all the shades in it are available individually on DOSE OF COLOR website. So If you like any you can definitely check it out. Thankfully they are not limited edition :)

Price of HOLIBAE SET was RS.3300/- whereas Individual liquid lipsticks are priced Rs.1800/- each ($18)

SHADE DESCRIPTION:-

DOSE OF COLOR HOLIBAE SET has 3 pretty red shades. They are:-

• BITTERSWEET:- It is an orange-red shade.
• STRAWBERRY POP:- It is a strawberry red shade.
• EXTRA SAUCEY:- It is a deep red shade.

Among all 3 I love EXTRA SAUCEY most followed by STRAWBERRY POP.  The shade BITTERSWEET is little patchy and so I don't like it much.

• Apply the liquid lipstick to the centre of the bottom lip and work outwards towards the lip line.

PACKAGING:-

The holibae set is very adorable set. The red color of the packaging was really popping out from my stash. Inside the box, there are 3 full-size liquid lipsticks which are 3 different tones of red. The lipstick itself comes in a matte case packaging like the regular liquid lipsticks of Dose of Colors with a white cap on it. The wand is a doe foot applicator for which it is easy to line and fill up the lips.


MY EXPERIENCE:-

I am a big fan of matte liquid lipsticks. The Dose of Colors was a hit and miss brand for me in past so I hardly buy from this brand. But the holibae set was looking so adorable then and I was on a shopping spree I bought this set.  Inside the set, there were 3 pretty different shades of red. BITTERSWEET, STRAWBERRY POP AND EXTRA SAUCEY. I love both STRAWBERRY POP AND EXTRA SAUCEY but BITTERSWEET is a bit patchy on my lips. I don't know why but every time I tried out any coral or orange shade from Dose of Colors I found they are patchy in texture.

Leaving the BITTERSWEET I really love the texture of the other two. They have mousse kind of consistency and they have a mild candy smell in it. The liquid lipsticks applied evenly on my lips and turn into matte within few seconds of applications. The liquid lipsticks stay intact on my lips 6-7 hours with a slight bit of fading if I eat or drink anything. These are transfer-proof but on dry lips, it will tend to dry out the lips more. So these lipsticks are not suitable for dry lips beauties. 

Overall the liquid lipsticks are the good one and if you want to try it you can try it but I would not recommend it as I have some better quality liquid lipsticks from other brands.

“Every lipstick, has a story, you just need the heart to listen to it…” read somewhere…and these lines fits appropriate for today’s lipstick post. The lipstick that travels far from abroad in my kitty definitely has something in it for which it is able to draw my attention towards it.

When the whole blogging world raving about liquid matte lipsticks from a different brand, I couldn’t stop myself to enlist my name for the same. Every single brand, from simple drugstore to high-end brand are getting into the trend of “liquid matte lipsticks.” Few brands already reach the peak of success while few still struggling.

 DOSE OF COLOR is one of the brands that I think no need an introduction. Still those who are not aware of the brand, let me help you by giving a small intro. DOSE OF COLOR is a cosmetic brand in the USA that made cruelty free cosmetics. They have a wide range of some awesome cosmetics among which “the liquid matte lipsticks” are the hit.

 I found many foreign bloggers was just raving about the dose of color liquid matte lipsticks. Sadly the brand is not available in India so either you have to look for seller or reseller for the brand on Facebook or on Instagram or you can order from many international websites if you have a credit card.

My experience:-

Yes, it’s all about my first ever liquid lipstick from the DOSE OF COLOR brand in shade coral crush. The brand has huge range of color in their liquid matte lipsticks range, among which I settle into one which is a beautiful coral lipstick. The lipstick comes in a nice transparent bottle with a wand applicator. The applicator is pretty comfortable on lips. But being little broad in size it is little hard to line the lips directly with the wand. So I prefer to use my lip brush to line my lips followed by the wand to fill up my lips. Like the brand claim, the lipstick definitely glides smoothly on lips. Super pigmented. And it turns into matte within few minutes. The lipstick has no smell and it stays pretty 5-6 hours on lips with slight fading. The liquid lipstick tends to dry out the lips which are quite normal, so proper exfoliation is suggested before applying the lipstick. I personally moisturize my lips overnight before I use this lipstick. Although liquid lipsticks are famous for their drying out effect but these lipsticks are semi-transparent, which means they are quite comfortable on lips. The lipstick can’t survive oily or greasy food. But it definitely survives in small snacks and drinks break ;)

 The color is a beautiful coral shade which looks very pretty on warm skin tone mostly. Definitely, it is a color that is meant for fair to medium skin tone. But if you are confident about the shade then definitely you can try this out. After all, MAKEUP IS ALL ABOUT WHATEVER YOU CARRY CONFIDENTLY.

So, DOSE OF COLOR MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICK in CORAL CRUSH is a beautiful coral lipstick that is made for matte lovers only.
