Well, another week and am up with another Mac collection review. Today I am up with MAC LUCKY RED COLLECTION. The collection launched just 1 month back in India through online only.
Yes, nowadays MAC started launching collection Online only too. Anyways moving on to the collection. 2019 is the year of PIG. So MAC launched new Lunar New Year “Lucky Red” collection on the basis of Lunar New year.

HOW TO USE: Apply directly to lips.

The beautiful metallic red and Chinese design packaging makes the lipsticks look so pretty and classy. I picked up one shade among five because most are from the permanent range. And only LUCKY IN LOVE is a new limited edition addition to this collection and it is only one shade which I don't have.

MAC LUCKY IN LOVE is a warm coral with a matte finish. The shade is really pretty and will look good across all complexion. The lipstick is highly pigmented and it has that Mac signature vanilla fragrance in it.

Starting with the packaging, again Mac cosmetics nailed the packaging. Both the blush that is present in this blush duo is from the permanent range. But still, I grab it because firstly I love the packaging. Secondly, the price of blush duo is Rs.2500/- whereas each full-size blush of Mac is Rs.2000/- now. And no one can't end up that huge full-size blush in one life so it was a steal deal for me and so I grabbed it.

The blushes are super pigmented and perfect shades for me. Together they gave a beautiful coral flush of color on my cheek. They blend easily on my skin and stay pretty 7-8 hours in this sweaty summers.   The blushes are perfect for warm skin tone beauties.

So overall I am happy that this time I didn't end up buying an entire collection...lol.

PACKAGING:-

The lipstick comes in a black square lipstick case. The cap of the lipstick is slanting. The name "MORPHE" emboss on lipstick case and the initials of Morphe "M'' emboss on top of the lipstick cap and on top of the lipstick bullet. The lipstick close with a click sound and so the lipsticks stays secure during traveling. These lipsticks have no fragrance.

MY EXPERIENCE:-
 
The lipsticks are different shades of red. I love red lipsticks and so I picked best of 3 red lipsticks from this range out of 5. The lipsticks are matte in finish. They glide smoothly on the lips. There is no tugging or pulling of lips while applying the lipsticks. The lipsticks are super pigmented and stay pretty 7-8 hours on my lips. The lipstick fades lightly if you eat or drink something but as the lipstick stains the lips so they stay nicely as a stain on your lips even after fading. As these are matte lipsticks so people who have dry lips might feel these lipsticks little dry on their lips. So a proper exfoliation and moisturizing of lips is suggested before you apply these lipsticks.

MY FINAL VERDICT:-

 I really love these lipsticks. And definitely, I would love to recommend these lipsticks to all matte lovers.
