Packaging:-

The scrub comes in a tub kind of packaging with a spill proof lid. The tub packaging is nice and gorgeous as comes in a transparent sturdy tub inside which there is another golden tub, it gives a nice 3d illusion. The scrub doesn't come with any spatula so one has to dig out the scrub from the tub which is ok if you are using all alone and not sharing your scrub with others.

The scrub is granular but the granules are not so harsh and it has a citrusy fragrance in it. It is cream consistency and thus the granules stick to the skin easily doing their job finely.

My Experience:-

I am using this scrub from last one and a half week now as you can see the tub is no longer look fuller. A small dollop is enough for the face. Having sensitive skin I always scared of using a scrub as it turns my face red after scrubbing but thankfully this doesn't. In fact the presence of hyaluronic acid I feel it lighten up my acne and pimple mark. It is quite effective on my rough skin may be due to the presence of walnut shell particles in the scrub, it makes my nose area and my chin area smooth and soft. The presence of shea butter and oils prevents my skin from further drying which usually happens with other scrubs.

I usually apply the scrub in the evening. I damp my face with water and then I apply the scrub all over my face dropwise. Then with a light-handed just using my fingertips, I scrub in a circular motion all over my face for 1minute as I have sensitive skin and then I wash it off. Dry skin people can scrub for 2 minutes instead of 1minute.

I am a person who does makeup on a daily basis and so my skin gets tired very easily but after I started using this scrub the tiredness of my skin is gone and it definitely started looking brighter and relaxing.
Although I don't prefer to scrub more than twice a week. But for review purpose, I used this scrub thrice a week following as directed in the scrub box and surprisingly it worked beautifully on my skin.

Overall I am really happy with this scrub and definitely, I would love to recommend this scrub to people who have tired, dry, flaky and aging skin.

Beauty series: HIMALAYA PURIFYING NEEM FACE SCRUB

Hi friends,
So after the first post in "Beauty Series" here I am up today with another review from the brand "Himalaya Herbals.  I have already reviewed Himalaya purifying Neem face wash here as the first step of my face care regime. So, today I am going to share my second step of my face care regime and it is none other than a scrub from Himalaya Herbals, a purifying Neem face scrub.

Price:- Rs.130/- for 100g.

The scrub comes in a tube packaging. It has a flip cap to open. One has to squeeze the product to take it out ( I know everyone knows about it). The Himalaya herbals purifying Neem face scrub is one of the most selling scrubs for oily skin. I have seen mostly college goers using this brand. I have seen my sisters, cousins using it. I have seen my friends using it too.

The concept of not scrubbing your oily skin was first to break by this brand who introduce a scrub, especially for oily skin. Now many brands came forward to introduce their range of scrubs for oily skin but my faith and loyalty stick to this brand regarding the scrub from last six months. Yes, I have been using this scrub from past six months and till now I didn't face any problem in my skin.
No, no it is not a paid or PR post that I am keep ranting about this scrub. I definitely believe that taking care of our face, skin and hair is a hand to hand contribution by both from inside by eating healthy and leading a healthy lifestyle  along with from outside to just maintain the CTM(cleansing-toning-moisturising) routine for our skin.

The scrub has very minute particles on it which are gentle on my sensitive and oily facial skin. I have been using this scrub twice or thrice in a week. It has a very mild medicated smell( I am really poor in describing any smell) which hardly persists after wash.
The scrub is actually recommended to apply solo on to our face for scrubbing. But as I am always in a hurry so I follow an easy trick. I mix my Himalaya purifying Neem face wash and Himalaya purifying Neem face scrub in 1:1 portion on my wet palm and apply it onto my face. In this way, I clean and scrub my face at one go.

**Avoid trying out this trick with different brands of face wash and scrub. I follow it because both belong to the same brand.

So summing my entire review "Himalaya purifying Neem face scrub is a very affordable and a worth buying scrub for the oily and sensitive skin." I am using it from pretty long time and I never faced any issue with it. It may not be the best scrub in the market according to many but for me, it is my ongoing scrub nowadays.

 Note: the scrub is meant for oily skin , not for pimple skin. So, don't use it over your pimples :)
