The palette comes in a beautiful beige color cardboard box. The box and the palette are of same beige color with the name of the palette emboss on it in white. The outer cover of the palette has a velvety finish.


The palette consists of 14 beautiful shades. The box of the palette is sturdy one and it closes with a magnetic closure. It comes with a mirror and a dual-ended brush. The dual ended brush has one side eyeshadow brush whereas another side is the blending brush. The bristles of the blending brush are little scratchy and it picks a lot of product whereas the eyeshadow brush is less harsh on skin and easy to use. The brush is actually perfect for touch up only.

My Experience:-

The shade TEMPERA and BURNT ORANGE  are two common shades that are present in both ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Modern Renaissance palette and in ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Soft Glam Palette. Leaving these two all are totally different shades.

The palette consists of 14 beautiful mixed shades of neutrals. It is actually a matte and shimmer mixed neutral shades palette which is perfect for every skin tone. The palette is perfect for both daytime and evening look. All the shades are super pigmented even the matte shades too.  Even without primer, the eyeshadows are super pigmented one. The texture of the eyeshadows is so soft that they blend easily. But few eyeshadows have minimal fallout which is ok because the shades are super pigmented as I told you earlier. The most amazing part of this palette is that all the neutral shades are equally pigmented like the dark shades. And the shimmer ones are super pigmented.
 
The staying power of the eyeshadows is worth mentioning. They stay pretty 7 hours plus without any primer on my oily lids. After 7 hours there is slight fading and smudging of shades during summer on my oily lids but that can be fixed with a primer and a setting spray.


Drawback:-
 

• The palette is a bit costly when it comes to ordering it from the website as they have shipping plus customs. So in India, grabbing this palette is a bit problem. So, if you want to grab this palette hassle free then Instagram sellers are the good options for you. And if you want to grab it is less price then check out this palette during LABOUR DAY SALE  or BLACK FRIDAY SALE (when they have almost 20% off on selected products including this palette too).
• Secondly, all the shades are pretty dupeable one in the palette so if you can't grab it you can look for the dupes but I admit that the quality of the palette is something that is worth mentioning.

Overall ANASTASIA SOFT GLAM PALETTE is one of the best palettes that is created by the brand. And the palette is permanent one so anybody can grab it anytime. The palette is a versatile palette full of neutrals shades for everyone to create a different kind of neutral and bold looks for every season. I am amazed by the pigmentation of the eyeshadows in the palette and I think this palette is a must-have palette in your stash if you are an eyeshadow lover like me.

Morphe brush Eye shadow palette 35B :-

So finally, the hottest selling brand “Morphe” is on my kitty too. When the whole blogging world just going gaga over the brand I was just making my list and finally I end up investing on my first ever palette from the Brand in Morphe 35B palette. Yes, just few days back I show you all a sneak peak about a parcel that I got from “LaMakeup Affair” on my page…It is “MORPHE BRUSH EYE SHADOW PALETTE IN 35B”.

Morphe have a huge collection of eye shadow palette among which I choose 35B as it is a colorful palette. The palettes comes with 35 beautiful shades. The palette is just perfect for both day and night look. The neutrals shades are perfect for daytime while the dark shades are perfect for night out. The palette has both shimmer and matte texture. Starting from beautiful Pink shades to Purples…Green shades to Blue and few neutrals and black shade. You can create smokey look to any daytime soft look with this palette. The palette doesn’t come up with any mirror or applicator. And being a big palette of 35 shades it is not so handy to carry everywhere.

The quantity of each eye shadow compare to the price of the palette totally worth to buy. Coming to the quality, the eye shadows in one word are “AWESOME”. The shades are all pretty pigmented and smooth texture. Few dark shades are just insanely pigmented. There are although a little bit of fallouts of matte shades but that are just very less compare to other matte shades from other brands. The eye shadow without primer stays pretty 5-6 hours on my oily lids and with eye primer it goes a bit long way. The eye shadow are easy to blend and definitely it is a must have palette for people who love bold and colorful shades on their lids.

The palette is so beautiful that I couldn’t resist myself to click so many pictures of the palette only and can’t resist to share it with you all :)

Makeup with Colored liner:-

How’s you all? Well, today my post is regarding another makeup with a colored eye liner. After experimenting with white eye liner and green glittery liner here and here I found it pretty fun to experiment with my colored liner and so today it’s my turquoise liner… we often tempted to buy colored eye liner but after buying it lay untouched in out stash as either we don’t have any occasion to wear it (mostly think like that) or they are too bold to wear every day. 

So here is the post which will help you to use your all those untouched bold eye pencils that you scared to use on regular basis.

  

Yes I am going to show you how you can use ay bold liner (here I use turquoise liner) without showing yourself too much dramatic.

On my upper lid I use two similar shades of bronze, one dark shade that is for outer “v” corner of eye and one light shimmery shade that is for inner 3/4^th of lid  so that both the shades makes your lids look neutral as we going to add dash of color on our waterline. On waterline I used my turquoise eye pencil.

Okay, many of my followers ask me “how mine turquoise liner look so pop up where as it don’t stay much like mine or never pop up like mine….”????  

So here is a trick, I applied the liner first direct with the pencil on my waterline then smudge it with the Q-tip a bit. Once it smudged I again took the pencil and run through my waterline along with the smudged area. This will make your eyeliner stay long and pop up on your waterline.

Next step is an orange lips always look good when you have neutrals eyes but sometime a pop of color on waterline is also not a bad idea. I did this look with turquoise liner only but you can go with other vibrant purple or teal or green or any bold liner like I told earlier.

For reference:-

I use Maybelline turquoise eye pencil.

On my lips; first I applied Colorbar just coral lip liner on entire lips followed by Colorbar matte lipstick in tempted.

So here are the pictures of my makeup look that I did first with a straight hair look and next is same look with messy bun and with beach-wave hairstyle look. Just go as you feel…
