REVIEW AND SWATCHES OF VICTORIA LIPSTICKS BVD38 & BVD52

Hi Everyone,

Today I am going to talk and review VICTORIA LIPSTICKS. Now many of you might not aware of that brand. So let me tell you an Instagram seller Online.makeup.store.india is the dealer of this brand.

She sells this brand's products on her Instagram Page. I was following her page from the pretty long back and I was eyeing on these lipsticks from long back. VICTORIA LIPSTICKS has a huge range of lip colors. So I decided to give it a try and bought two shades from this VICTORIA LIPSTICK range. I picked up two shades BVD38 and BVD52.

Price:- Rs.700/- each.

Packaging:-

The Lipstick comes in a plastic case packaging. The packaging is not so sturdy. As I feel I might break the lipstick case if I drop it. Moreover, the quality of the plastic case of the lipsticks looks cheap. So definitely I am not impressed with the packaging of the lipstick.

My Experience:-

The lipsticks are matte in texture. They glide smoothly on lips giving a velvety texture on lips. The texture of the lipsticks is comfort matte. It stays pretty 5-6 hours on my lips. The lipstick is not 100% transfer proof but it doesn't transfer a lot. You might see a light transferring of lip color on cups and glass just after application of lipsticks. The lipstick is matte in texture so these are not suitable for dry lips people. The lipstick will turn more dry and flaky on dry lips people with time.

I am personally a matte lipstick lover so definitely, these lipsticks are hit for me anyway but still, I think they don't worth Rs.700/- each anyway. The lipsticks are matte but these are not extraordinary. Moreover, all the shades are dupeable one (you might find same matte shades with better quality in many drugstore brands that are available in India) and the packaging is not so good. Overall I am ok with these lipsticks. I love them but definitely not going to buying them anymore.

Packaging:-
 
The lip color comes in a frosty transparent tube. One can see the color from outside. The packaging of the lipsticks is really nice. The square size of the tube occupies a small space in my stash. The wand is pretty nice and doe foot kind off for which it is very easy to line and fill the lip color on my lips. Overall packaging wise the packaging of these lip color are really nice :)

My experience:-

The texture of the lip color is not runny neither thick. A well-balanced of texture that evenly spread on my lips. The lip color takes time to dry out but once it dried it looked like true matte on lips. The lipstick is very light in texture and one can't feel that she is wearing something on lips. It is that much good. The lipsticks are true matte but if you rub your fingers on your lips it will come out a little bit. But that doesn't mean it will fade, as it nicely stained the lips once dried. The lip color doesn't dry up my lips with time and so it stays comfortably matte on my lips for hours (5/6 hours). The lip color doesn't transfer on your cups or if you drink something but sometimes it fades a little bit from the middle part of lips if you having some oily food (as usual like other liquid matte lip colors). The lip color although stains my lips a little bit but they are very easy to remove too.

UNSUNG HEROES- MAC ARIANA GRANDE 2 LIPSTICK

 
When you are a lipstick lover and a beauty blogger you sometimes end up buying a lot of lipsticks at one go. And then you miss few to review. And then One fine morning cleaning the stash you find out that there is a lipstick that you forgot to review on your blog...
So, I name today's post as unsung heroes as the lipstick about which I am going to talk today is one of my favorite lipstick.

The bold, beautiful, medium dark magenta pink with pink undertones lipstick is named as MAC Viva Glam Ariana Grande 2 Lipstick. I am not a big fan of Ariana but I loved this collaboration. The first collaboration of Ariana with Mac cosmetics was dark lipstick which I avoid to try or buy. But this one is my kind of pink so I couldn't resist myself and bought this one during the launching.

The lipstick has the matte finish. It stays pretty 6 hours on my lips. it glides smoothly on lips as first few minutes of application the lipstick look creamy on lips. But it turns matte after 30 minutes of application.

Now as this lipstick is a limited one so it is out of stock everywhere now and you might feel to buy it now. So here the closest dupe of MAC Viva Glam Ariana Grande 2 Lipstick is COLOURPOP  ultra matte lips in shade "Lychee".

Here is the dupe list of MAC ARIANA GRANDE 2 LIPSTICK, although the swatches on hand looks might different but sometime few looks almost similar on my lips.

REVIEW AND SWATCHES OF MAC LIPSTICK ABLAZE

"Lipsticks are my tiny bundles of joy, anytime a new lipstick added in my stash pour a glass of happiness in my soul...no matter how many lipsticks I bought till now but I will never say "NO" to the new one..."

 

A bright apricot cream matte lipstick (that's how mac describes this shade) is the talk of the post today.


Mac ABLAZE  lipstick was re-prompted by Mac in their BLUE NECTAR COLLECTION in JUNE 2016(seriously, I forgot the collection name , so had to ask my friend again :P ). There was 11 shades of lipstick that launched in this collection, in which I decided to pick only this one as most of the other shades are pretty dupeable whereas MAC ABLAZE was a unique and hottest selling shade among all.

Although the lipstick is from a limited edition collection but it comes in a regular black case lipstick packaging of Mac cosmetics. The vanilla scent of the lipstick is the signature one.

My experience:-
 
MAC lipstick  ABLAZE  is a beautiful matte coral red lipstick. It has a very light sheen in the lipstick, so you can say it is not that typical mac matte lipstick. The texture of the lipstick is like Mac satin lipsticks as it glides smoothly on lips without any tugging or pulling. With gradual time the lipstick turns into a comfortable matte on lips which is not that much drying like the retro one.

The lipstick looks quite neon and bold on the tube but once it applied you can see it is not neon but a very nice coral shade that are perfect for fair to medium skin tone beauties mostly. It is medium pigmented that need two swipes to get an opaque coverage. The lipstick doesn't smudge if applied without a lipliner. It stays pretty 6 hours plus on my lips and leaves a light reddish stain on my lips. The lipstick fades unevenly after a heavy meal or oily foods from the middle part of the lips so reapplication of lipstick is suggested.

Mac lipsticks are the best lipsticks till now for me as I am a big fan of this brand. But still, sometimes this brand disappoint me and sometimes it amazed me. So, when it's about MAC ABLAZE  lipstick, I am amazed at the shade, pigmentation and texture. I love the way the lipstick brighten up my entire face. I love the unusual coral -red color that just added to my stash apart from usual pinks and reds. Overall I am in love with the shade.
