To use as kajal, apply a generous swipe on your waterline, starting from the inner corner of the eye and smoothly moving outwards.

PACKAGING:

The kajal comes as a wooden pencil for which it needs to sharpen every time the tip becomes blunt. Thankfully the tip of the kajal is not so soft and that's why if you sharpen it slowly with the plum sharpen the tip will remain intact and it will hardly break.

TIP:

MY EXPERIENCE:-

I have tried so many kajal till now that I can write a book on them. But most of the kajal irritate my eyes or feels heavy on my waterline. Plum goodness kajal is one that is jet black in color, super pigmented even on my waterline and it doesn't irritate my eyes at all. The kajal is waterproof but can easily remove with an oil-based makeup remover. You don't need to sharpen it after every time you use because the tip hardly melts at one application. The kajal is perfect for lining on the upper lid also. It doesn't smudge at all if you conceal and set the eyelid with a compact powder before you apply this kajal (just for extra precaution). The kajal is perfect for doing any experimental eye makeup as it glides smoothly on waterline also keeping the pigmentation intact.

Overall I am in love with PLUM GOODNESS KAJAL and definitely, I will recommend this kajal to everyone. Once I end this twin pack I will be buying this kajal again and again as I totally love them.

PURPLE-GOLD FESTIVE LOOK II COLLAB VIDEO II

 Hey everyone,

Today I am up with a collaboration video with my dear friend Malathi Shri and we together coming up with two different festive looks.
I created a Purple-Golden Eyes perfect for this festive season. So to watch it just keep on watching the video.

TUTORIAL:-

1.  First I am applying tape on both sides of my eye as I am planning to do some sharp outer V corner look.
2. Next, I am taking Maybelline age rewind concealer and I am applying it on both of my upper eyelid areas. Blending it with fingers as the warmth of finger will melt the concealer and blend it easily with the skin.
3. Now I am taking MORPHE 35B palette and from the palette, I took a light pink shade at first with a blending brush and applying it all over my crease line area.
4. Next, I am taking an off-white shade and am going to blend it with that pink shade on my crease line area and a little bit towards brow bone area. This process will help me to create a perfect transition eye look that I am planning to do for today.
5. Next, am taking a light brown shade from my contour palette which is from Anastasia and I am blending the shade with all those former shades.
6. I started depositing the brown shade more towards the outer v corner of my eye to create a depth of my eye.
7. Next, I took a deep violet shade from Morphe 35b palette and with a pencil brush I started to create an outer v corner with the shade.
8. I will start depositing the shade on outer v corner until I get my desired dark violet shade. Now moving towards the inner corner of the eye and I am going to do the same process in that area too with the same pencil brush.
9. Now I took Maybelline fit me concealer in shade 20 and am going to apply it on the middle part of my eye with the help of a flat brush creating an oval shape. Now as I am practicing this kind of halo look from pretty long time so I can create the shape with any brush but for beginners, I will suggest using a pencil brush while applying concealer on the middle part of the eye. I will start with half oval shape and then I will gradually create a half circle shape which will be equal to my eyeball diameter.
10. Now am taking the same dark violet shade once again and putting it on the edges of concealer to blend the harsh lines.
11. Next, I took my pat eyeshadow palette, this is my recent buy and I am stunned by seeing the pigmentation of the palette. Look how pretty it is...Anyway, I took the gold shade from the palette and apply it on top of my concealer using the same brush. I am dabbing the gold eyeshadows on top of the concealer.
12. Now once again I blend everything with the dark violet shade.
13. Again I took Morphe 35b palette and from that palette, I took the neon pink shade and blend everything on my crease line area with this shade.
14. For brows, I took Sigma Dark brow powder and with the help of Sigma E75 brow brush am filling and defining my eyebrows.
15. Next, I took a pale gold shade from Morphe palette and applied it on the high point of brow bone area.
16. Time to remove the tape and wipe off all the fallouts (if any).
17. For face today I took Lakme face primer and applied it all over my face with my hand. Hands are the best tool you see as the warmth of your hand actually blends the makeup in the skin with perfection.
18. For foundation, I took Sugar cosmetics stick foundation in shade 01 LATTE and blends it with a damp sponge from RT.
19. Again I took Maybelline fit me concealer to conceal mine under eye area. Again am using my hand with sponge combo just to blends the concealer fast.
20. Time for baking my face and I took Sugar cosmetics loose translucent powder and applied it all my sweaty area of the face along with under eye are and on my jaw area to create a sharp contour face.
21. Now for lower lashline area, I am using the same dark violet and golden shade combination to create the same look like my upper eyelid area.
22. Now to add little more glam to the look I took Stila liquid eyeshadow SMOULDERING SATIN and dab it on top of my golden eyeshadow on both of my upper eyelid area and on my lower lash line area.
23. Dusting off all the excess powder.
24. Now applying ARRESTED FOR OVERSTAY EYELINER from SUGAR COSMETICS on my upper lashline area.
25. Applying Maybelline colossal kajal on my lower waterline area.
26. For Lashes, I am using Maybelline big shot Mascara for my upper and lower lashes.
27. Added some false eyelashes and moving towards contouring my face using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit.
28. For blush am using Elf blush palette in shade light.
29. For highlighting my cheekbone area am using FENTY BEAUTY TROPHY WIFE highlighter.
30. Followed by Prosecco Pop highlighter on the bridge of my nose, forehead and on my cupid bone from  Jaclyn Hill palette.
31. For lips, I lined and filled my lips with COLORBAR Creamy Nude lip liner followed by CT lipstick in shade Secret Salma.
32. Dabbing it with a tissue and then again reapplying the lipstick to make it lasts forever.
33. Now, this is my final look, and am adding a bindi some earrings to complete my festive look.

Now as this palette is available now in India in Nykaa.com.I think it is the high time that I should talk about it.

Let's not talk in terms of usual formal way of review today as I am bit tired writing in same way everytime.

Secondly, I remember the moment when I grabbed this palette from Cult Beauty (when there was the speedy delivery of 5 days in my location with no customs).

The palette is priced by the Instagram seller as Rs.5000/- to 6000/- each which I think was too much for me(I know they had to go through customs). So after grabbing my ABH MODERN RENAISSANCE  palette from Cult Beauty at almost half price (as a sale was going on abh at that time), I was pretty sure that I will grab this Huda Beauty palette from Cult Beauty in less price than Instagram sellers.
And now Nykaa have this palette in Rs.4850/- here.

I was a truly mad behind this palette at that time who used to check at every early morning(say 6 am) or late night (say 2 pm) whether it was restocked in Cult Beauty or not...the very fine early morning I saw it in stock I ordered it in Rs.4237/- approx(yes as I had one promotional discount too at that time).

Now the palette whom I was stalking from so long does really worth to buy?
 
- Well, the price I paid for it Rs.4237/- approx. and in Nykaa it is Rs.4850/- so at these price YES,  but from Instagram Sellers in Rs.5k-6k? NO

Does it worth buying?

- Well, if you want some really gorgeous palette with some warm and beautiful shades and glitters at one go then definitely it is worth buying. The palette has every single warm shade that anyone can use to create any look (warm shades look only). Moreover, it has some all time go to glitter pressed pigments which one can use to add more glamour to the look. The eyeshadows are smooth in texture and highly pigmented. They are easy to blend and has least fallout. In fact, there are no shades that are chalky. Even the glitters are easy to apply with fingers or wet brushes on eyelids.

How will you justify yourself for buying such a costly palette when you readers who love to have this palette but can't afford?
 
- First of all, I will not justify myself for buying such costly palette because I admit that it is expensive. But being a passionate makeup lover who appreciates every single makeup (no matter which brand owner did what to others) and a beauty blogger I couldn't stop myself getting it as the palette is very tempting.
Now the palette is definitely pretty glamorous in packaging but if you see it a little closer you can see that every single shade is dupable in this palette. You can have the dupe of each shade in this palette at a less price from other brand and so the glitters too. So if you can't afford then definitely you can try out from other brands.

My final words:-

Definitely it is expensive palette but still, I will recommend it. If you can afford it then grab it soon because it is a great palette with an awesome combination of glitter, matte, and shimmer shades.     Firework: Dare I say this is the most shimmering shade? It’s great for all over the lid and for creating a warm, smoky eye. Partner it up with any of the matte orange shades.

    Queen: The perfect gold. I have nothing else to say.

    Obsessed: I was looking to create a shade for the perfect smoky eye. This took forever to get right, but it’s perfect and I’m total, you guessed it, Obsessed.

    S.B.N.: One of my most-used, all-over-lid colors is this deep, pinky-bronze shade. It creates the perfect, smoky but natural look. S.B.N…N.B.D.

    Hillster: God, I love this color all over the lid or on lower lash line. I wanted a good range in this palette, and this is the deepest warm shimmer we have to offer.

    Roxanne: I named this after myself (my middle name is Roxanne). That may be narcissistic, but I don’t care. My subscribers know this is my favorite color in the world. I honestly use it every day on lower lash line or outer crease.

    Jacz: An actual burgundy with great color payoff. These high-pigmented mattes go through lots of rounds to make them this super creamy.

    Buns: This is Linda’s favorite crease color, but it took some time for it to grow on me. We removed it from the palette at least 5 times. I hated it at first, but now…obsessed. It’s a great everyday neutral shade for all skin tones.

    Cranapple: A true cranberry shade perfect for all over the lid.

    Royalty: I love it so much. The purplest of purples. A badass purple. No undertones. Just shimmery purple (I had to create one) that’s great to layer.

    Twerk: The reason this color is in the palette? I hate blue. I wanted to be able to wear an awesome shade of blue and this is it. Bold, fun and totally wearable with major wow factor.

    Hustle: For those of you not into warm shades, this is 100% cool with gunmetal, purple undertones.

    Meeks: The best bronze out there (and named after one of my best friends, because that girl loves her bronze). Not too metallic, and all ages can rock it whether you’re 14 or 40.

    24/7: Completely different formula than the rest of the palette: pressed glitter, baby. Apply with finger, or a very wet brush, for a sophisticated, fresh-from-the-runway look.

    Chip: I use this shade all the time to smoke out outer corner and lower lash line. Creamy, smooth and highly pigmented. Win, win, win.

    Mocha: SO chocolatey and super warm, perfect for deepening any eye look.

    Pool Party: My favorite pop of color ever! Beautiful turquoise with flecks of glitter may seem over the top, but it’s not. It’s super wearable (just like a swimsuit).

    Jada: Named after my niece since this is her fave color in the whole world. Very similar to Pool Party, but with a matte spin.

    Diva: Bye-bye Christmassy green shades. I so wanted green in this palette, but a neutral one to wear all over lids and layer with warm reds…and not make you think of Santa.

    Enchanted: This deep, matte green is Diva’s (and all the other green shades) partner in crime.

    Central Park: I wanted every woman and man to have the option of a cool, matte brown.

    Soda Pop: We were so excited to get this color perfect. So deep and so dark. You almost think it’s black, but it’s purple. And one of the most complementary shades for any eye color.

    Abyss: Matte and black as hell. One of the blackest blacks I’ve seen. So hard to make black rock, but we did it.

The palette comes in a beautiful white cardboard packaging for which it looks really classy and gorgeous. The name MORPHE X JACLYN HILL written in white metal kind of print on top of the palette. When you open the palette there is a sweet message written in it all from Jaclyn Hill to her followers. The palette has no mirror and no brush. The palette is huge in size but sleek in packaging. 


My experience:- 
 

The palette comes in a white packaging for which I am really scared to handle it. As it might get dirty easily while applying eyeshadows. The eyeshadows are a mixture of matte and shimmers. The palette has mostly families of brown for which I can't say it is a versatile palette for all. But definitely, it is a "SAFE" (as the shades are pretty easy to work with to create any simple to gorgeous looks) palette for everyone.

The matte shades are medium pigmented while shimmer works best with fingers and wet brushes. The texture of the eyeshadows in this palette is quite similar with the famous Morphe 350 (reviewed here) which is one of best selling palette of Morphe Brushes. The eyeshadows are pigmented and the texture is really smooth. Both the matte and shimmers are easily blendable on eyelids. There are minimal fallouts in few matte shades which are almost next to nothing. But the shades have no name in the palette for which whenever I had to refer a shade I had to look again and again to the shade card to read out the name. I wish the palette comes up with a brush and a mirror (when it is a limited edition, then there should be little difference in packaging) otherwise it is a down point to carry an extra mirror or brushes with it.

Overall it is a very decent palette which you can happily have it or skip it (trust me if you miss it then you will not gonna miss anything. Moreover, as it is a collaboration with Jaclyn hill so the price of the palette is hefty when you add international shipping charges with it. 

The eyeshadows are pretty dupeable in almost all brands so anybody has a huge collection of singles eyeshadows can happily skip it. For me, I am a sucker of eyeshadow palette so definitely it added one feather extra in my collection ;)

How to Use
 
First Prime Eyes with a white/nude base.
Use a wet flat synthetic brush for shimmery colors. Note(Shimmery colors can be used wet or dry). Shimmery colors can also be applied with fingers. To wet brush use Mac's fix plus or any makeup setting spray.
Use a blending brush for matte colors.

The brand JUVIA'S PLACE came into limelight mostly after they launch of their JUVIA'S PLACE MASQUERADE PALETTE. It is a limited edition palette (as per declared by the brand). The whole Instagram world of makeup was going gaga over this colorful palette after it launched on the website. The swatches, the feedback regarding the palette by foreign bloggers draws my attention towards this brand.In fact, I was unaware about this brand before until they launch this beautiful palette. The palette comes in two sizes. One is the big and other is the mini version of same. This mini palette is sold by many Instagram sellers in India. The price range of mini one is Rs.2700-2900/- approximately whereas for big one they do charge of Rs.3100-3300/- approximately.

Packaging:-

The palette comes in a beautiful pink packaging. The African figure over the pink cardboard and on the top of the palette gives a tribal feeling while seeing the palette. The palette comes in a strong cardboard packaging that has a magnetic closure. The mini version of the palette is quite a big one and it will last long whereas the big one looks like the oversized palette and it will last forever. I wanted to grab the big one but as it was out of stock from everywhere so I grab the mini one. The packaging of the palette is colorful yet sturdy one.

My experience:-

This is the first palette I bought from this brand JUVIA'S PLACE. The swatches of the eye shadows in this palette was looking so pigmented and colorful and beautiful that I was badly tempting for it. So I bought this mini version of JUVIA'S PLACE MASQUERADE PALETTE from Instagram seller Beautyshop_India at Rs. 2730/- approximately.

The palette has sixteen eye shadows which are a perfect mixture of both bold and neutrals, shimmer and matte shades.  The texture of the eye shadows is soft. Both the shimmery and matte shades have awesome pigmentation. There is slight fallout in matte shades but shimmery shade has no fallout. The matte shades blend like butter while shimmery shades work best if use with wet brush or fingers. The main attraction of this palette are those blues, purple and pink that can be used to create different smokey eye looks. Overall I am loving this palette so much that it is my current go-to palette whenever I plan to do some colorful looks.

   How to use product

•         Glide the gel liner along the lash line from the inner to outer corner of the eye.
•         Eyeliner is easily removed with Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover.

My Experience:-
 
Among all the nine shades of Maybelline New York Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencil, I grabbed 605 LUSTROUS SAPPHIRE, a beautiful blue color eye pencil,607 POLISHED AMETHYST, a nice plum color eye pencil and 611 SOFT N*DE, a beautiful n*de color eye pencil.

The eye pencils are a wooden pencil that needs time to time sharpening to get that edgy tip which means there is some wastage of product during sharpening. The pencils are super creamy in texture and super pigmented. They turn matte after few seconds of application. The pencils work equally good as eyeliner and kajal.Although these are colored eye pencils but they are just perfect for waterline too. They don't irritate my waterline. The eye pencils claim 16hr long wear and waterproof but it stays pretty 7-8 hours on my waterline as well as over upper and lower lashline too. 
These are smudge proof eye pencils so one had to be really quick to create a smudged eye look before it turns out dry. Due to waterproof and smudge proof quality of these eye pencils, they can be easily removed by only oil makeup remover. 

Among all the three shades I was little more excited with the "SOFT N*DE" shade as there is hardly any drugstore brand that has N*de shade pencils in it. And this n*de pencil will suit most Indian skin tones. It actually makes the eyes look bigger. While the other two shades "Lustrous Sapphire and Polished Amethyst" are colorful eye pencils that are perfect to add a tint of color to eyes. Although these two shades are dupable shades but again these pencils are cheap in price to compare to other few drugstore brands and as I don't have this kind of shades in my stash I am really happy that I finally grabbed these. I am going to use all in my upcoming video, until then here are the hand swatches of all three of them below.

Overall Maybelline New York Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencils are quite affordable in price and good in quality.
