REVIEW OF MAMAEARTH PRODUCTS

MAMAEARTH is one of a safe certified brand in Asia who had some products especially for mama to be, mama and babies. There is a huge line of products by MAMAEARTH who products claim to be PARABEN FREE, SLS FREE, PHTHALATES FREE and MINERAL OIL FREE.

When the brand approaches me to try out their products I immediately said yes as I already was familiar with this brand.

They send me three products to try out.

1. Mamaearth Calming Body Wash with Aloe, Allantoin & Vitamin E:-

Price:- Rs.349/- for 200ml.

My Experience:-

The body wash comes in a sturdy pump bottle with double cap closure. Yes, you heard right...the double cap closure actually keeps the body wash spill proof and much secure while traveling.
The body was is a gel like texture. One or two pump is enough to lather up pretty well with a loofah. It claims to toxin free so I have tried and tested on me and on my baby too (who is now 5 years old). The body wash is very gentle to the skin and it doesn't dry up after wash. It doesn't contain any strong fragrance. It has a mild natural ingredients kind of smell which hardly stays for few minutes after washing. 

So, overall I just love this body wash and definitely I am going to gift one to my mom so that she can enjoy the luxury of toxin free body wash.

2.Mamaearth Nourishing Body Lotion with Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter & Jojoba Oil.

Price:- Rs.349/- for 200ml.

My experience:-

Well, in my early 20's I hardly needed any moisturizer to moisturize my skin in summer but due to shifting my base to a different city along with being a mom who ran 24X 7 hours behind her 5-year-old kid hardly gets any time to pamper her hand and body. In my early 30's I was looking for some moisturizer that will easily cover up all my problems related to dry and flaky hands and dry elbow. So when I got this PR package the first thing attract me is this body lotion.
The body lotion also comes up in same pump packaging with double cap closure. The smell of the body lotion is similar to the body I got.
The texture of the body lotion is little thick but it easily absorbs into the skin surprisingly. The lotion is so light and I don't feel any greasiness after using it. The body claim to have natural ingredients like Aloe Vera, Shea butter, cocoa butter and geranium essential oil which keeps my hands smooth and moisturizer for the hours. It is actually good if you could apply it at night before you go to bed. I have dryness on my skin due to dry summer but this lightweight moisturizer helps me to control my dryness to some extent.

Overall I am loving this lightweight, mild fragrance body lotion which is just perfect to all dry skin beauties in this summer.

3.Mamaearth Charcoal, Coffee & Clay Face Mask to Reduce Pigmentation & Skin Lightning:-

Price:- Rs.599/- for 200ml.

Charcoal mask always attracts me when it comes to pampering my facial skin. Charcoal is proven to help with acne, pimples and other skin concerns.

Little bit more information about this mask from this brand itself:-

Mamaearth Charcoal, Coffee & Clay Face Mask a mix of Charcoal, Coffee and Clay, loaded with minerals like magnesium, calcium, and potassium to stimulate blood circulation. It has aloe vera which is very effective in reducing melanin in the body. Coffee helps in stimulating blood flow and remove toxins which help smooth away blemishes. 
  
My experience:-

The mask comes in a big tub with a lid and spill proof lid closure. The 200 ml mask is quite a lot to end up in one month. 

I have used so many charcoal mask from a different brand but no mask gives me an after soothing and cooling effect like this one. The mask is very thick in texture thus a little amount covers up a large area. The mask has an after soothing and cooling effect every time I wash it. The mask actually reduces all my acne and acne masks with a regular use of it. It has the same mild fragrance that the body wash and body lotion which lingers for an hour even after washing it.

Overall I am loving this cooling charcoal masks as it has a very soothing effect which goes perfectly in this scorching heat of summer.

Okay so my final verdict is done now time for some drawbacks that I felt while trying out this package.

DRAWBACKS:-

The price is little high when it comes to the quantity which we are getting it in this products but again every good thing comes with a price tag so one might see it pricey. So definitely I am okay with the price.

Secondly, the fragrance of all three products is almost same which I don't like as much because I do get bored easily with same kind of smell in everything.

So, I wish they have some different fragrance in different products.

These are the two drawback that I wanted to share after trying out these products otherwise for me personally I am loving it every bit of it and definitely, I am going to recommend this brand to all mamas, mom to be.

Review of PATANJALI ROSE WATER

We always run for the high-end brand when we need something extra care for our skin, but we always forgot that only a constant caring towards skin can make us glow naturally. It is a prolonged process but we always want something that works like a miracle in a week which never happen and finally, we go on changing the product…



Wake up guys…nothing will work in one day, one had to patient and regular in skincare routine to get the desired effect.

No, today I am not here to give you any advice, but definitely going to share a review of a nice and affordable product that i am using from last seven months constantly.

PATANJALI ROSE WATER is my recent go to toner from the last couple of months. 



Price: - Rs.25/- for 120 ml.

PATANJALI ROSE WATER comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a pink cap on it. The bottle has a broad mouth opening with a tight closure lid that can be removed by pulling only. So it is a spill-proof packaging. 

How to use and what it claim?

PATANJALI ROSE WATER is suggested to dab drop wise in a cotton ball and apply it on the eye for relaxation and on a face for toning. It is claimed to cure all the dryness of skin that occur due to dry summer or winter. 

Coming to my experience:-

PATANJALI ROSE WATER is a transparent liquid that looks like plain water. It smells like the rose that lingers for hours even after the toner dried on skin. The toner is a great relaxing one for my dry skin. It makes my skin look fresh every time I use it. I have severely sensitive skin and so I am always choosey while buying toner but this one I think I can buy and use throughout my life as it is non-irritating and non-sticky toner.


Although it doesn't heal any acne or a pimple but definitely it lightens the acne and pimple spot if use regularly. It is a good toner that brightens up my skin to some extent and helps to remove light tan too.

How I use this PATANJALI ROSE WATER?

I personally prefer to use the toner after refrigerating it for hours. I use the toner on my eye area using a cotton pad for 15 mins and then let it dry naturally. While for my face I use the toner using a cotton ball and let it dry naturally. I don’t rub the toner, instead of it I prefer to dab the toner on my entire face. Sometimes I prefer to mix the toner in my face pack too to get much more effect. 



Over in all, it is a nice toner with less chemical that can be use on the regular basis on any skin type. The toner is quite cheap in price and at the same time good for skin hydration.

Biotique BIO MOUTAIN EBONY (VITALIZING SERUM FOR HAIRFALL)

 
Hey friends,

Finally giving a small break to the makeup part today and going to review one of my recent hair care product. The constant change of weather from rainy to sunny creating so much imbalance in my hair texture that I found my hair turning dull with tremendous hair fall. All those hair fall on my floor and the pillow makes me so worried that I had to buy something for my hair.

I always change my hair care routine after every third month as I found my hair usually get accustomed to the newly brought product within 3-4 months and stop showing any result. That’s why I had to indulge myself in different hair fall tonic. For now, I am using Biotique BIO MOUTAIN EBONY (VITALIZING SERUM FOR HAIRFALL)

Biotique BIO MOUTAIN EBONY (VITALIZING SERUM FOR HAIRFALL) comes in a sturdy semi-transparent plastic bottle.

Price: - Rs.185/- for 120ml.

Ingredients list picture:-

 It is a hair serum so it is liquid in texture. One had to pour the serum on palm and spread it evenly on dry scalp. Massage it in the circular motion for few minutes and then leave on.

I usually apply the serum at night and leave it overnight. Being watery in texture it is easily absorbed in my dry scalp leaving a very nice mild smell. On the very next day, I just wash my hair with plain water and I do shampoo on every alternate day in a week. The serum is non-oily and non-sticky. It doesn’t weigh down my hair after application. I can even style as desired once the serum completely dried on my scalp.

Coming to the result of the serum:-

The moment I click the picture it was just two weeks and the moment I sit down to write about it is already four and half week. I saw the dullness of my hair is gone. I will not claim that it totally stop my hair fall (sounds like an advertisement) but yeah it regulates my hair fall to some extent. As the hair tonic has been suggested to apply on dry scalp only so it has no function if I apply it on my dry ends of hair. The hair tonic definitely improves my scalp but it has nothing to do with my dry ends.

Over in all, I am pretty ok ok with this product as it improves my scalp condition but didn’t bring any drastic change in my hair fall. Secondly, continuous use of this hair tonic actually regulates my hair fall only to some extent. Moreover, it has nothing to do with my dry ends. So, if you just want to maintain your healthy hair then this hair tonic is must buy but if you expecting a lot from it then definitely you should look out for something else which is more powerful on your hair.
