 Packaging:-

The palette comes in a beautiful box with the name written on it. The cardboard box had to slide to take out the palette. The palette comes in a sturdy case which is heavy in weight and much similar to NAKED SMOKEY palette (I reviewed it here). The packaging of the palette is worth mentioning. The color of the palette is much similar with the flames of fire. Outside the palette, the name is written in golden which you can feel with finger whenever you touch those words.The palette comes with a mirror and a dual ended brush. The brush is very soft and useful while applying the eyeshadows from the palette. The mirror in the palette actually makes it complete (as few palette don't have the mirror on it for which it is little difficult during touch-up). The palette has strong magnetic closure. Overall the packaging is really nice, attractive, sturdy and travels friendly.


My experience:-

URBAN DECAY NAKED HEAT PALETTE is a palette that consists of 12 eyeshadows which are warm tones and more towards orange and red shades. The palette consists of a mixture of both shimmer and matte shades. In short URBAN DECAY NAKED HEAT PALETTE is another addition to the "Naked" range of eyeshadows of urban decay.

 All the eyeshadows are highly pigmented, easily blendable and buttery soft in texture. The matte shades have no fall outs while shimmer shades have 5% of fallout which is very less in amount. The shimmer shades if use with a wet brush then they hardly have any fallout. The eyeshadows stay pretty 8hours+ on my oily eyelids without primer. All the shades are perfect for applying on the upper eyelid and on the waterline too as as URBAN DECAY ELECTRIC PALETTE has some restrictions.
The palette is perfect for Indian skin tone from fair to dusky skin beauties.



Down Points:- 

•     Expensive palette.
•     Shades are pretty dupeable.
•     The choice of the shades in this palette is quite similar to many other palettes.

Overall I really like the palette and very happy to include it in my URBAN DECAY collection of the palette.



Through a beauty blogger eye:-

As a beauty blogger I am bound to my reader to give my honest opinion about every product so if you ask me about this palette that "Is it worth buying"? My answer will be "NOPE" just because the price of the palette is very high for which it is considered as a luxury palette. Secondly, as the shades are pretty dupeable one so if you can't afford this one then you don't need to regret about it.As there are many other brands which have similar kind of shades in their palettes.

For a comparison purpose here are the pictures of few palette along with URBAN DECAY NAKED HEAT palette which might help you to decide whether you want this palette or not.

Yeah, today I am going to talk about my recent buy from URBAN DECAY cosmetics. After buying the whole lot of URBAN DECAY NAKED 2 and 3 PALETTE (see my haul here) as I have Urban decay naked 1 palette, I thought my collection ends here as these palettes already made a hole in my pocket. But at that moment URBAN DECAY  was having a flash sale for one day where URBAN DECAY SMOKED PALETTE was half of its original price. I was not sure how to grab that offer at that moment. But luckily one Instagram seller was taking pre-order for this palette for one day and without a second thought, I grab this palette from her.


Price:- $54 in urban decay website, I grab it in Rs.3100/- for one day sale.

The smoked out the gray color of the outer carton and on the upper lid of the palette designed with much care. The name "NAKED SMOKY" emboss on the palette with silver mirror design that you can fee the words if you touch it. "It look like those secret box of magic".

The entire packaging just true to the name of the palette. The eyeshadow case is little heavy and the lid close with a magnetic closer. It comes with a mirror and with a dual ended brush which is much useful one (I use that brush only from the palette to create this eye look). 

My experience:-

 

When we talk about eyeshadows, URBAN DECAY makes some highest quality of eyeshadows. In another word, URBAN DECAY eyeshadows are best eye shadows in this makeup world. So it is quite obvious that the eyeshadows in this palette are at its best quality. All the shades are super pigmented. All eyeshadows can be applied on the lower lashline area too, as there is no restriction like URBAN DECAY ELECTRIC PALETTE (reviewed here) .

They are easily blendable. No fallouts and no chalkiness in any shades. The eyeshadows in the palette are nicely coordinated with each other and with the name "SMOKY" of the palette. The eyeshadow remains 7 hours plus approx. on my oily eyelids without any smudging or fading. They are easy to remove too thus no irritation on the eye while removing it. 

"Over in all if you are a smokey eye look lover and want to create some bold looks then this palette is must have in your stash. A PERFECT PALETTE TO CREATE DIFFERENT SMOKY EYE LOOK."

I love neutrals only when I want to play safe but I love brights when I am experimental on my own way..."

You must be wondering what I am saying today. Actually, today's post is all about URBAN DECAY ELECTRIC PALETTE. The palette that has 10 beautiful bright shades, the palette that finally completes my initial collection (as urban decay have huge eyeshadow range) is the talk of the post today.

My experience:-

Urban decay is one of the leading brands that makes some perfect eyeshadows always. The eyeshadows are at their best quality. After grabbing URBAN DECAY NK 1, 2, 3 palettes, URBAN DECAY ELECTRIC PALETTE, was on my list long back. So when I receive a gift coupon from Strawberrynet for which my palette was in discount I just blindly grab this palette to complete my collection of URBAN DECAY EYESHADOW PALETTE (I know another palette is already launching and that too I might grab in near future if only I want some neutral best matte eyeshadows).

 The palette comes in a beautiful sturdy colorful packaging. Both the outer box and the palette have similar colorful outlook. The palette is pretty sturdy and little heavy, which makes the eyeshadow really safe.

The palette has the magnetic closure for which it is travel-friendly too. It comes with a dual ended brush and with a huge mirror which is enough for applying the eyeshadow or for any touch ups. As the palette is colorful and so are the bristles of the brush too that comes with this palette( which are purple in color instead of usual black or white or shaded one). The brush is a dual ended pressed pigment brush, as I told you earlier. It's one side is perfect for applying and blending eyeshadows over lids while the other side is good for precise application.

Coming to the shades, SLOWBURN, JILTED, SAVAGE & URBAN are not meant for sensitive part of eye area like tear duct one. Rest all can be applied on waterline. I used the above mention shadows for my lower lashline avoiding tear duct area and they are quite ok. But still I would not recommend you all to try those shades on waterline.

The palette consists of 10 beautiful brights shades that are perfect for creating any bright look. The shades are super pigmented. And there are no fallouts in any shades. The shades work at its best if they are applied by dabbing the shadows over the lid with a semi wet brush.
The eyeshadows without any primer stay 6 hours on my oily lids without any creasing. After 6 hours , I saw a slight creasing on my crease area which can be avoided with a proper primer over the lid.

The brush that comes with the palette is pretty helpful one and in fact, one can create any look using that brush only. The sky blue, the orange, the lime shades are light shades in the palette but still they are super pigmented which are just beyond my expectation.

Over in all my thoughts regarding this URBAN DECAY, ELECTRIC PALETTE is " when it is URBAN DECAY eyeshadow palette, you don't need any recommendation to try it". I am very happy with my purchase and do recommend everyone to grab this palette if you are a bright eyeshadow lover like me ;) .

Strawberrynet.com sometimes come up with 10% discount, so keep your eye on that site so that you can grab this palette in little discount or if you don't want to take risk from international site you can try out Instagram seller LAMAKEUPAFFAIR for this palette.
