PRO TIPS:

The palette comes in a mirror cased packaging. The packaging is so gorgeous and sturdy too. The palette case looks bulky but it gives a strong luxury vibe. Although it reminds me of my BECCA X JACLYN COLLABORATION FACE palette that I reviewed long back here. Although I kind like this one more now than Becca one. 

All four shades are damm pigmented. The texture is soft. If you see closely then you can see these shades have some self patterns on the pan which don't fade even if you swirl your brush badly. It looks like those shades are pressed in that pattern only. I love this palette and this one is one of my best buys I guess for my collection.

SWATCH GALLERY -COLOURPOP PINK PHRASE 2

Today's swatch gallery presents another two palettes all from the brand Colourpop Cosmetics.

Now Colourpop launched this (Pink) Phrase 2 collection last year from which I pick up everything from this collection. I pick two palettes and a lip kit.

I picked the following:-

• ColourPop Belle of the Ball Pressed Powder Shadow Palette is retail for $18.00 for 0.20 oz.
•  Colour Pop Pressed Powder Face Duo -DONE DEAL palette is a limited edition and retails for $16.00 and contains 0.56 oz.
• Colourpop Mixed Finish Lip Collection Phase 2 (pink).

ColourPop Belle of the Ball Pressed Powder Shadow Palette:-

This palette consists of pink-themed shades. It has two warmer and pink and coral shades and then a deep, cooler pink and a light, frosty pink shade.  All the shades are super pigmented. The texture of the eyeshadows is so soft that it blends with ease. All the shades stay forever( if used with a primer) until I remove it with makeup remover else they stay pretty eight hours on my eyes without fading.
Overall the palette is very pretty and looks so girlie as the theme of the palette is pink.

• Secrets is a light pink with warm undertones and a matte finish.
• Soft Core is a medium pink with warm undertones and a matte finish.
• Fair Play is a bright and dark pink with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish.

ColourPop Pressed Powder Face Duo -DONE DEAL palette is a limited edition palette. It consists of a blush and a highlighter.

Shade description:-

• Above & Beyond: It is a matte warm pink blush
• Made Me Do It: It is a pearlized highlighter in the champagne pink shade.

ColourPop Pressed Powder Face Duo -DONE DEAL palette comes in a cardboard sturdy packaging. Both the blush and highlight are soft, silky in texture. Both the shades are super intense in pigmentation. 

The blush blends easily on the skin and the shade is buildable one. Coming to the highlighter, it gives a nice subtle glow on my skin and it doesn't enhance the pores of skin too. Both the shades stay 7-8 hours on my skin without fading.

Overall I love this palette as I love the shade Pink.

Colourpop Mixed Finish Lip Collection Phase 2 (pink):-

Now moving to Colourpop Mixed Finish Lip Collection Phase 2 (pink).

ColourPop Cosmetics released a three-part monochromatic collection for Spring 2017 (Nectar, Pink, and Sand) and included three lip bundles, so I grabbed the pink phase only.
Each lip bundle comes with three different types of finishes: satin, matte and gloss. Phase 2 comes with all pink shades.

Shade Description:-

• Chandelier: Ultra Satin Lip; true salmon pink
• Fresh Cut: Ultra Matte Lip; true blue pink
• Curtsy: Ultra Glossy Lip; mid-tone warm pink in a Crème finish

Leaving the shade Chandelier the other two suits my skin tone pretty well. The Matte and satin finish stays on my lips pretty 6 hours whereas gloss wears off after two hours or so. But still, I love the glossy one more than other two as it is super pigmented despite being a gloss.

The lip kit is overall a good one and one can always wear it by mix and match all the three shades together or with lip liners.

SWATCH GALLERY- COLOURPOP "THE KNOCKOUT" & "BLOW ME AWAY" PALETTES

So currently I am in a swatch mood and that's why I decided to share all those pending swatches of products that I am yet to post on my blog.

So, in today's post, I am going to swatch two best palettes of Colourpop Cosmetics. 

One is ColourPop Pressed Powder Face Duo-THE KNOCKOUT and the other is ColourPop BLOW ME AWAY Pressed Powder Shadow Palette.

• Colour Pop The Knockout palette is a limited edition and retails for $16.00 and contains 0.56 oz.
• ColourPop Blow Me Away Pressed Powder Shadow Palette is retail for $18.00 for 0.20 oz.

ColourPop BLOW ME AWAY Pressed Powder Shadow Palette:-

ColourPop BLOW ME AWAY Pressed Powder Shadow Palette is a mix of warm peaches, corals, and oranges eyeshadows. All the shades are super pigmented. The texture of the eyeshadows is so soft that it blends with ease. Among the four shades, two shades (Centerfold, Slim Fit) are not actually eyeshadows, they are “Pressed Pigments,” which are listed as “not intended for use in the immediate eye area”. As these are pressed pigments so they have some fallouts too. While the other two has almost no fallouts. All the shades stay forever( if used with a primer) until I remove it with makeup remover else they stay pretty eight hours on my eyes without fading.

• Take a Break is a light peachy gold with warm orange undertones and a soft, metallic sheen.
• Issues is a light peachy orange with warm undertones and a matte finish.
• Centerfold is a bright, medium coral with orange undertones and a matte finish.
• Slim Fit is a rich, dark coral-orange with red undertones(warm) and a matte finish.

ColourPop The Knockout palette:-
The face palette has two shades in it. One is a blush and another one is a highlighter.

• EXCUSE MY FRENCH- pressed powder blush. It is a medium orange with warm undertones and a matte finish blush.
• LIKE TO WATCH- pressed powder highlighter. It is a medium gold with strong, warm orange undertones and a frosted finish.

ColourPop The Knockout palette comes in a cardboard sturdy packaging. Both the blush and highlight are soft, silky in texture. Both the shades are super intense in pigmentation. 

The blush blends easily on the skin and the shade is buildable one. Coming to the highlighter, it gives a nice subtle glow on my skin and it doesn't enhance the pores of skin too. Both the shades stay 7-8 hours on my skin without fading.

Overall these palettes are awesome palettes and worth buying one. I love both of them as both are just perfect for summers.

REVIEW II SWATCHES II SUGAR COSMETICS CONTOUR DE FORCE FACE PALETTE

Hey everyone,

So SUGAR COSMETICS again comes up with another new launched, and it is a FACE PALETTE this time which is named as "contour de force face palette" in two different shades and in 6 single minis.

Price of palette:- Rs.799/- each.
Price of minis/ singles:- Rs.399/- each.
Availability:- Sugar Cosmetics website.

I got both the palette as a complimentary gift when I shop an amount of Rs.1599/- each time from Sugar cosmetic website. The palette is now available to order from sugar cosmetics website.

The palette comes in a cardboard packaging. It has a magnetic closure. Inside the palette, there is a mirror. The palette has no brush. The palette is sleek and small and thus easy to carry while traveling.

My experience:-
 
Both the palette consists of 1 contour powder, 1 highlighter and 1 blush each. The palette has awesome pigmentation. The texture of the powders are very buttery and they blend superbly on skin giving a flawless look. The staying power is also good. It stays 8 hours intact on my skin in this winter. The highlighter is also good as it doesn't enhance pores of the skin.

Although I feel there should be another shade range for dusky skin beauties as both the palette are good for fair to medium skin tones mostly [maybe in future Sugar cosmetic add one new shade in this range :) ].

In short, I am loving both the palette a lot. Now I can say that finally, we have an affordable face palette which is available in India easily.

REVIEW & SWATCHES OF ALEXIS REN X COLOURPOP TOPAZ PRESSED POWDER FACE DUO

Colourpop cosmetics nowadays are so raved brand as they are coming up with new products almost every month. The price of those products is so affordable that people turning their interest on this brand a lot.

Today I am going to talk about ALEXIS REN X COLOURPOP TOPAZ PRESSED POWDER FACE DUO.

The palette has been launched long back but as I was too busy in juggling between blog and youtube channel of mine I miss it. So today when my laptop disk is almost full and I just sit back to delete my old files I found the pictures of this palette.

Pressed Powder Highlighter

Application tips:-
Apply Highlighter to the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, above cupid's bow, under and/or above brows. Use a variety of sized brushes depending on where you are applying the highlighter. Recommended for all skin types.

Pressed Powder Bronzer can be used to add dimension, color, and contour. Build to desired intensity using your favorite powder brush. Recommended for all skin types.
The ALEXIS REN palette consists of two shades:-

She's Here to Stay: pearlized highlighter; a true gold
Golden Moment: matte bronzer; a warm bronze.

Packaging:-
The ALEXIS REN X COLOURPOP TOPAZ PRESSED POWDER FACE DUO comes in a black cardboard box with a magnetic closure. The palette is sleek in packaging and so it is travel-friendly too. It comes up with a mirror only and no application brush.

My experience:-

ALEXIS REN X COLOURPOP TOPAZ PRESSED POWDER FACE DUO comes up with a bronzer and highlighter. The size of both bronzer and highlighter are 10gm each for which it will last forever I guess (lol).
The texture of both highlighter and bronzer are buttery. When I swatch it with a finger I could feel the smooth milled texture of the powder. Both are easily blendable and stays pretty 5 hours on my skin during summers.The palette is just perfect for fair to medium skin tone beauties as I doubt that it will hardly show up on dusky skin beauties.
I personally use the bronzer to contour my cheek and forehead area only as it is slightly orangey on my skin(I am NC 30 in Mac) so I avoid applying it on the bridge of my nose.

Final verdict:-
 
If you are looking for a good bronzer and highlighter duo then definitely you should check out this palette.
