Finally, the festival of lights is here and we all are decking up ourselves in shimmers and glitters. Whether that is in our dress or in our makeup. 

So today I am up with 2 best glitter eyeshadows that you can try out in this festive season.

So Kiko Milano launched a new range of eyeshadow known as  "GLITTER SHOWER EYESHADOW" in 8 or 10 shades.

Shade Description:-

I picked 2 shades from this range.

• Shade 02:- A rose gold glitter eyeshadow.
• Shade 04:- A golden eyeshadow.

Price:- Rs.1050/- each for 2g.

Packaging:-

The GLITTER SHOWER EYESHADOW  comes in a square magnetic case with a transparent lid. One can see the shade from outside.

My Experience:-

The GLITTER SHOWER EYESHADOW are glitter eyeshadows which don't need glue during application. They easily stick to lid whenever you applied it with fingers. The eyeshadows work best with fingers, not with brushes. They stick to your eyelid pretty well and stays intact for 5-6hours without having any primer and with primer, they go a little longer. There is very minimal fallout during application so in short, these are mess free glitter eyeshadow.

The GLITTER SHOWER EYESHADOW are little expensive.
The shadows are available on Kiko stores only not online.

Overall, the GLITTER SHOWER EYESHADOWS are the best glitter shadows if you are looking for some in this festive season.

PURPLE-GOLD FESTIVE LOOK II COLLAB VIDEO II

 Hey everyone,

Today I am up with a collaboration video with my dear friend Malathi Shri and we together coming up with two different festive looks.
I created a Purple-Golden Eyes perfect for this festive season. So to watch it just keep on watching the video.

TUTORIAL:-

1.  First I am applying tape on both sides of my eye as I am planning to do some sharp outer V corner look.
2. Next, I am taking Maybelline age rewind concealer and I am applying it on both of my upper eyelid areas. Blending it with fingers as the warmth of finger will melt the concealer and blend it easily with the skin.
3. Now I am taking MORPHE 35B palette and from the palette, I took a light pink shade at first with a blending brush and applying it all over my crease line area.
4. Next, I am taking an off-white shade and am going to blend it with that pink shade on my crease line area and a little bit towards brow bone area. This process will help me to create a perfect transition eye look that I am planning to do for today.
5. Next, am taking a light brown shade from my contour palette which is from Anastasia and I am blending the shade with all those former shades.
6. I started depositing the brown shade more towards the outer v corner of my eye to create a depth of my eye.
7. Next, I took a deep violet shade from Morphe 35b palette and with a pencil brush I started to create an outer v corner with the shade.
8. I will start depositing the shade on outer v corner until I get my desired dark violet shade. Now moving towards the inner corner of the eye and I am going to do the same process in that area too with the same pencil brush.
9. Now I took Maybelline fit me concealer in shade 20 and am going to apply it on the middle part of my eye with the help of a flat brush creating an oval shape. Now as I am practicing this kind of halo look from pretty long time so I can create the shape with any brush but for beginners, I will suggest using a pencil brush while applying concealer on the middle part of the eye. I will start with half oval shape and then I will gradually create a half circle shape which will be equal to my eyeball diameter.
10. Now am taking the same dark violet shade once again and putting it on the edges of concealer to blend the harsh lines.
11. Next, I took my pat eyeshadow palette, this is my recent buy and I am stunned by seeing the pigmentation of the palette. Look how pretty it is...Anyway, I took the gold shade from the palette and apply it on top of my concealer using the same brush. I am dabbing the gold eyeshadows on top of the concealer.
12. Now once again I blend everything with the dark violet shade.
13. Again I took Morphe 35b palette and from that palette, I took the neon pink shade and blend everything on my crease line area with this shade.
14. For brows, I took Sigma Dark brow powder and with the help of Sigma E75 brow brush am filling and defining my eyebrows.
15. Next, I took a pale gold shade from Morphe palette and applied it on the high point of brow bone area.
16. Time to remove the tape and wipe off all the fallouts (if any).
17. For face today I took Lakme face primer and applied it all over my face with my hand. Hands are the best tool you see as the warmth of your hand actually blends the makeup in the skin with perfection.
18. For foundation, I took Sugar cosmetics stick foundation in shade 01 LATTE and blends it with a damp sponge from RT.
19. Again I took Maybelline fit me concealer to conceal mine under eye area. Again am using my hand with sponge combo just to blends the concealer fast.
20. Time for baking my face and I took Sugar cosmetics loose translucent powder and applied it all my sweaty area of the face along with under eye are and on my jaw area to create a sharp contour face.
21. Now for lower lashline area, I am using the same dark violet and golden shade combination to create the same look like my upper eyelid area.
22. Now to add little more glam to the look I took Stila liquid eyeshadow SMOULDERING SATIN and dab it on top of my golden eyeshadow on both of my upper eyelid area and on my lower lash line area.
23. Dusting off all the excess powder.
24. Now applying ARRESTED FOR OVERSTAY EYELINER from SUGAR COSMETICS on my upper lashline area.
25. Applying Maybelline colossal kajal on my lower waterline area.
26. For Lashes, I am using Maybelline big shot Mascara for my upper and lower lashes.
27. Added some false eyelashes and moving towards contouring my face using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit.
28. For blush am using Elf blush palette in shade light.
29. For highlighting my cheekbone area am using FENTY BEAUTY TROPHY WIFE highlighter.
30. Followed by Prosecco Pop highlighter on the bridge of my nose, forehead and on my cupid bone from  Jaclyn Hill palette.
31. For lips, I lined and filled my lips with COLORBAR Creamy Nude lip liner followed by CT lipstick in shade Secret Salma.
32. Dabbing it with a tissue and then again reapplying the lipstick to make it lasts forever.
33. Now, this is my final look, and am adding a bindi some earrings to complete my festive look.

Review of Maybelline New York Fit me Loose Finishing Powder

Hi Everyone,

Today I am going to review Maybelline New York Fit me Loose Finishing Powder. This is a new launch from Maybelline and it is currently available in all online and Maybelline stores. I picked up shade 20.

AVAILABILITY:-  Nykaa or Amazon.

PACKAGING:-

Maybelline New York Fit me Loose Finishing Powder comes in a square kind off the tub. The lid is square and so I find it little difficult to open and close the lid as due to the shape it sometimes stuck. But packaging-wise I find it is pretty similar with a few international brands. It has no sponge in it so one had to carry an additional puff or sponge to apply this powder.

 MY EXPERIENCE:-

Maybelline New York Fit me Loose Finishing Powder launched in 4 shades only in India. So although it has so many shades we had to choose from only 4 shades. The powder claim to be mineral-powder which controls all the shine and create a smooth texture with a bit of color. The powder is very soft and finely milled one. It gives a medium coverage and a smooth finish. It easily blends on my skin giving a perfect matte look. It blurs out the texture of my skin too. The shade 20 has a decent yellow undertone that matches with my warm skin tone and brightens up my face. Now this powder is good for people who have oily skin as I feel it might not suit dry skin beauties. The powder keeps my skin matte for 4 -5 hours. It actually makes my makeup long-lasting.

Overall I am liking this powder a lot nowadays and I feel it work exactly as other loose setting powders work on my skin. There is definitely something good in this powder but nothing to be over hyped.

KAREENA KAPOOR INSPIRED MAKEUP TUTORIAL

Recently I got so many requests for recreating this inspired look of Kareena Kapoor. She has been spotted with this Smokey eyes and Nude lips. REVIEW AND SWATCHES OF MAC LIPSTICK ABLAZE

"Lipsticks are my tiny bundles of joy, anytime a new lipstick added in my stash pour a glass of happiness in my soul...no matter how many lipsticks I bought till now but I will never say "NO" to the new one..."

 

A bright apricot cream matte lipstick (that's how mac describes this shade) is the talk of the post today.


Mac ABLAZE  lipstick was re-prompted by Mac in their BLUE NECTAR COLLECTION in JUNE 2016(seriously, I forgot the collection name , so had to ask my friend again :P ). There was 11 shades of lipstick that launched in this collection, in which I decided to pick only this one as most of the other shades are pretty dupeable whereas MAC ABLAZE was a unique and hottest selling shade among all.

Although the lipstick is from a limited edition collection but it comes in a regular black case lipstick packaging of Mac cosmetics. The vanilla scent of the lipstick is the signature one.

My experience:-
 
MAC lipstick  ABLAZE  is a beautiful matte coral red lipstick. It has a very light sheen in the lipstick, so you can say it is not that typical mac matte lipstick. The texture of the lipstick is like Mac satin lipsticks as it glides smoothly on lips without any tugging or pulling. With gradual time the lipstick turns into a comfortable matte on lips which is not that much drying like the retro one.

The lipstick looks quite neon and bold on the tube but once it applied you can see it is not neon but a very nice coral shade that are perfect for fair to medium skin tone beauties mostly. It is medium pigmented that need two swipes to get an opaque coverage. The lipstick doesn't smudge if applied without a lipliner. It stays pretty 6 hours plus on my lips and leaves a light reddish stain on my lips. The lipstick fades unevenly after a heavy meal or oily foods from the middle part of the lips so reapplication of lipstick is suggested.

Mac lipsticks are the best lipsticks till now for me as I am a big fan of this brand. But still, sometimes this brand disappoint me and sometimes it amazed me. So, when it's about MAC ABLAZE  lipstick, I am amazed at the shade, pigmentation and texture. I love the way the lipstick brighten up my entire face. I love the unusual coral -red color that just added to my stash apart from usual pinks and reds. Overall I am in love with the shade.
