SWATCH GALLERY- COLOURPOP "THE KNOCKOUT" & "BLOW ME AWAY" PALETTES

Hi Guys,
So currently I am in a swatch mood and that's why I decided to share all those pending swatches of products that I am yet to post on my blog.

So, in today's post, I am going to swatch two best palettes of Colourpop Cosmetics. 

One is ColourPop Pressed Powder Face Duo-THE KNOCKOUT and the other is ColourPop BLOW ME AWAY Pressed Powder Shadow Palette.

Price:-

• Colour Pop The Knockout palette is a limited edition and retails for $16.00 and contains 0.56 oz.
• ColourPop Blow Me Away Pressed Powder Shadow Palette is retail for $18.00 for 0.20 oz.

ColourPop BLOW ME AWAY Pressed Powder Shadow Palette:-

ColourPop BLOW ME AWAY Pressed Powder Shadow Palette is a mix of warm peaches, corals, and oranges eyeshadows. All the shades are super pigmented. The texture of the eyeshadows is so soft that it blends with ease. Among the four shades, two shades (Centerfold, Slim Fit) are not actually eyeshadows, they are “Pressed Pigments,” which are listed as “not intended for use in the immediate eye area”. As these are pressed pigments so they have some fallouts too. While the other two has almost no fallouts. All the shades stay forever( if used with a primer) until I remove it with makeup remover else they stay pretty eight hours on my eyes without fading.

• Take a Break is a light peachy gold with warm orange undertones and a soft, metallic sheen.
• Issues is a light peachy orange with warm undertones and a matte finish.
• Centerfold is a bright, medium coral with orange undertones and a matte finish.
• Slim Fit is a rich, dark coral-orange with red undertones(warm) and a matte finish.

ColourPop The Knockout palette:-
The face palette has two shades in it. One is a blush and another one is a highlighter.

• EXCUSE MY FRENCH- pressed powder blush. It is a medium orange with warm undertones and a matte finish blush.
• LIKE TO WATCH- pressed powder highlighter. It is a medium gold with strong, warm orange undertones and a frosted finish.

ColourPop The Knockout palette comes in a cardboard sturdy packaging. Both the blush and highlight are soft, silky in texture. Both the shades are super intense in pigmentation. 

The blush blends easily on the skin and the shade is buildable one. Coming to the highlighter, it gives a nice subtle glow on my skin and it doesn't enhance the pores of skin too. Both the shades stay 7-8 hours on my skin without fading.

Overall these palettes are awesome palettes and worth buying one. I love both of them as both are just perfect for summers.

REVIEW AND SWATCHES OF JUVIA'S PLACE NUBIAN 2 PALETTE

"So many palettes in my stash, a little bit confused which one should I pick...then I thought to close my eyes and randomly pick one palette to review for my blog today"...

The winner is JUVIA'S PLACE NUBIAN 2 palette.

Slowly and lately JUVIA'S PLACE started winning of heart many. This is one brand that I felt actually thought to work over on shades that will suit dark complexion.

Being a yellow strong undertone holder, I mostly crave for shades that are exotic and my perfect exotic shades search ends on JUVIA'S PLACE NUBIAN 2 palette.

Price:- $35 (now in sale, so sale price is $28 in the JUVIA'S PLACE website here )

Availability: - JUVIA'S PLACE don't ship directly to India so one had to use SOFU service (I have given a detailed information about it here ) or you can buy from Instagram sellers who are selling it in Rs.2500/-- Rs.3000/- range.

The palettes come in a beautiful yellow hard cardboard packaging with magnetic closure.

Description of Palette:-
 
The palette consists of 12 beautiful shades. Among these 12 shades, 4 shades are matte while rest 8 shades are metallic colors. The palette is inspired by NEFERTITI, a beauty icon who is known for her beauty, strength, spirituality. All the shades of this palette are perfect to create some classic or exotic looks. The palette is paraben -free product. It is a cruelty-free product too so a big thumbs up on that.

My experience:-

 JUVIA'S PLACE  is my recent crush brand when it comes to collecting eyeshadow palettes. They have some super pigmented, buttery texture eyeshadows. There is hardly any fallout issues with any eyeshadows which I face till now. The shades are equally pigmented when used by a dry or wet brush. I love how sleek is the packaging it has and so it is easy to carry during traveling. The pan size of the palette is so big that it will last really long then you can imagine.

The palette is beautifully color co-ordinated which is just perfect to create any classic look or any exotic look. The matte shades are perfect for the crease and outer corner of eyes while the metallic shades are perfect to create that oomph factor in your eye looks.

Overall I am loving this palette a lot and definitely I will recommend it to every eyeshadow lover to try it. The shades might look dupeable but the packaging of the palette and quality of the eyeshadows actually making it different compare to other brands.

PALETTE SERIES !!!

Hey guys,

Finally, I am going to start an interesting series on my blog and hopefully on my YouTube too soon. From last few months, I was shopping a lot of palettes. Those all are from different brands. Few are drugstore while mostly are high ends one. I have already reviewed few while many are pending.So today's post is just a sneak peak post of the entire series that are coming up from now.
