Review and swatches of beauty care products from Ehicare Remedies:-

Hey friends,

Today I am up with a brand “Ethicare Remedies” that need to be in Limelight of beauty care world. A few days back the brand owner contacts me and send me few products to me for review purpose.

When it comes to beauty care I am bit skeptical and that’s why I always try to stick to those products that I am using for ages. Ethicare Remedies is the brand that has the capability of changing mind of those skeptical people like me.

A little Info about brand:-

The brand focus is to bring a high quality product in pocket-friendly price that can give its best performance and can stand out to customer satisfaction. The brand is getting a good response from all over India and they exported to Dubai , Mauritius, Yemen, Bangladesh, and Nepal too.

I receive an exclusive kit from the brand consist of four products.

1. Cutishine – a face wash for daily cleansing.

2. Epi Plus lotion- Sensitive skin cleanser.

3. Ospis- anti-bacterial skincare soap.

4. Sweatnil- Antiperspirant gel.

Coming to my experience:-

     Cutishine – It is a face wash for daily cleansing.

Price:- Rs.180/- for 70gm.

Packaging:-The face wash comes in a transparent tube with flip cap opening. The face wash is light yellow in colour, gel consistency and had a nice floral smell. One had to squeeze to take out the product.

How to use:-Take a little amount of face wash with little water onto your palm. Work up, lather and gently massage on your wet face and neck in circular motion. Rinse off with clear water.

My experience with Cutishine:- 

The face wash claims to contain natural AHA and BHA with special skin lightening actives. As I am not tan so I can’t say about it. 

I find my skin soft and fresh after every wash. The face wash heals my pimples and acne quite faster. The active micro granules in face wash scrub my face gently. I am using the face wash from last two weeks and the moment this review will be up on blog it going to be 2 and half weeks, till now I didn’t face any problem with my facial skin. The face wash works really good to clean my oily dirt face along with the residue of makeup from my skin.

    Epi Plus lotion- Sensitive skin cleanser.

Price:- Rs.180/- for 100ml.

Packaging:- The skin cleanser comes in a white tube with flip cap opening. You had to squeeze to take out the product. The product is white in colour and creamy in consistency. It is a soap free, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic. It claims to maintain the ph balance of the skin.

How to use:- Wet the body with water and apply epiplus cleansing lotion. Massage the body gently and then rinse with water. wipe the body with soft towel. Avoid scrubbing your skin. For best results use daily.

My experience:- The skin cleanser has no smell and it is a soap-free product. That’s why it don’t work up as the lather. I took a dollop for each application. 

For first few days I was little unhappy with the product as it "NO FRAGNANCE"...OMG....HOW CAN i TRY IT....??? 

But slowly I started love the way it cleans my skin, I can feel that too but what I am little sad about this product that it has no smell ( as I am very particular about fragrances in my body care products). 

Why I start loving this no fragnance product ?

I do have allergic problems in the skin during summers, and before I start using the cleanser my skin always quenches for moisture and turns red due to dryness, but the day I start using it, till now I am not facing any allergic problem in my skin. So definitely it is a hit product for me (hmm, I think I can ignore the fragrance point ;) ).

    Ospis-  anti-bacterial skincare soap.

Price:- Rs.69/- for 100g.

Packaging:- Ospis soap is a white in colour with no smell.

My experience:- Ethicare remedies already break the skeptical mind of mine by their no fragrance skin cleanser. So when I start using the soap, I keep my mind broad so that I can judge the quality of the soap on the basis of its performance, not on the basis of fragrance.

The soap is a moisturizing soap ideal for dry skin. The soap claims to contain aloe vera that moisturizes dry skin. The soap lathers well and it made my skin pretty soft and hydrated after every wash. Due to dry skin, I usually avoid soaps for my skin but this soap changes my mind for the time and yeah it shows that “a soap have the capability to moisture dry skin like a body wash cream”. This time, I don’t have any problem with the fragrance issue as the soap was pretty successful to win my heart by its moisturizing capability.

 

Sweatnil- Antiperspirant gel

Price:- Rs.170/- for 50ml.

Packaging:- It is colorless antipersipirant gel that comes in a roll-on packaging. One had to roll it on their underarms for getting the best result.

My experience:- The roll-on is quite travel-friendly one and it is a very good option for personal hygiene. 

The roll on stays pretty 4 hours on summers. It has no burning or irritating sensation if applied on newly waxed underarms. I am using the roll on from past few weeks and I am loving it every beat. It survives those sweaty gym days too and so I think it is a must have antiperspirant gel in your bag before you hit the gym ;)

My rating for Ethicare remedies:- 4/5 (that fragrance point …and I wish they are easily available on Flipkart or amazon too.)

Overall “Ethicare remedies” is a brand that needs a big shout out for their awesome products at pocket-friendly price. They actually prove that a product quality doesn’t depend on its fragrance and soap  consists.

Do I recommend this brand?

Yes, I will. If you have sensitive skin then definitely you should try this brand at least once.

PURE SUDS HANDMADE SKIN TREATS

Today's post is all about beauty without makeup. Yeah, today I am going to share my experience with three cute pots full of natural ingredients to enhance my natural glow. I receive these three beautiful pots as PR sample from the brand owner of PURE SUDS. She personally customized these three beautiful pots for me just after seeing my regular routine.

As I am a makeup lover and I do loads of makeup looks so she gifted me a makeup remover cleanser. Next, I have oily and acne prone skin so she decides the other two pots will be full of ingredients that will reduce my acne and acne spots.
I received PURE SUDS BLACK -OUT FACE GEL PACK (FOR ALL SKIN TYPE), PURE SUDS DE -GREASE FACE GEL(FOR OILY, ACNE-PRONE SKIN) and PURE SUDS GRAPEFRUIT & LIME FACE CREAM CLEANSER.

Packaging:- 

The packaging of the products is really cute pot kind of which is made up of plastic. It comes with a lid that fits perfectly and intact to keep the product secure. You can use your finger (which is unhygienic though) or any spatula to take out the product.

How to use:- 
Every product has different ways of use (silly me :P )

PURE SUDS BLACK -OUT FACE GEL PACK (FOR ALL SKIN TYPE):- Take out a scoop of product and apply it evenly over face, leave it for 7 minutes and then wash it with plain water. Apply it thrice in a week.

 PURE SUDS DE -GREASE FACE GEL(FOR OILY, ACNE-PRONE SKIN):- Apply a thin layer on cleansed face day/night or anytime as required and leave it. It helps to prevent acne.

PURE SUDS GRAPEFRUIT & LIME FACE CREAM CLEANSER:- Take a dollop of makeup cleanser and apply it all over the damp face and massage it thoroughly. Use a small amount of water to massage at least for a minute. Rinse with normal water. 

My usage procedure, experience, and result :-
 
Coming to the makeup cleanser, the makeup cleanser is white in color and creamy in texture.It has a mild smell of lime which quite soothing to my nose(no sneezing, as I am allergic to some smell). It works well if you dampen your face a lot as it is so much concentrated that a little goes a long way. I took only half of a dollop for my face. Every time I put on makeup I reach for this particular cleanser. It is really good for both of my waterproof and non-waterproof makeup. It is easy to apply. I spray a little amount of rose water [that's my way girl ;) ] all over my face and then I apply the cream as it suggested. I am using this cleanser from past three weeks and till now I didn't face any breakout. The cleanser is not at all harsh and every time I use it I feel like it cleanses my makeup deeply.

Next,PURE SUDS BLACK -OUT FACE GEL PACK (FOR ALL SKIN TYPE), the pack is black is colour and gel in texture.It is not so runny again not so thick, medium consistency. It has a mild smell which I love it as it doesn't disturb my sensitive nose( don't know why, but I couldn't remember which smell it is actual, am really poor in recognizing smell :( so sorry guys! ) I feel a slight tingling warm sensation while using the gel over my face which is natural (as told by Bhavana, owner of the brand ). The gel is quite effective on my acne prone skin. My recent visit to my hometown (as I already bombarded with loads of picture on my social media if you are following me ;) ) and all those junk foods leave loads of acne over my face in those two weeks. The gel is effective to reduce all of my acne to 70% in 4 days which is quite okay because those healing of acne leaving no marks on my skin. So am very happy with the result.

Finally, PURE SUDS DE -GREASE FACE GEL(FOR OILY, ACNE-PRONE SKIN), this pot is full of the magic portion I guess. I was using the acne gel pack and these face gel together from last three weeks. and I think the dual effect reduce my stubborn acne and 1-2 pimples really fast. I use the face gel during night mostly and sometimes day too. The face gel is yellowish in color and has gel consistency which easily absorb in the skin after few minutes of application. It has a very minty floral kind of smell (again am sounding confused in recognizing smell...errrrr!) which i just love it. It also has a slight tingling sensation after application over my pimples and acne which reduce the pain of acne or pimple a bit.

My rating:-4.5/5

Yeah, I know I deduct half marks :( as I found the product is bit pricey compared to the quantity which might be drawback for many but again every good thing comes with a price tag...;)

So, over in all, I really love the three cute and useful pots from PURE SUDS, which is a brand that master in handmade skin treats.

My recommendation:- I guess my experience and rating shouting out loud my recommendation.

Review of Patanjali Aloevera Gel :-

So finally I am going to start reviewing all those Patanjali products that I brought three months back. After using it continuously I think it is the time when I should share my experience with the product.

It is needless to say that "Patanjali" brand is an Indian brand which created much hyped nowadays among us. I saw many bloggers raving about the brand. Moreover, I was quite tired by seeing loads of renowned beauty care brand selling their beauty care products having loads of chemicals. So, whenever I start using the beauty care products from those high-end brands I end up with one good effect and one side effect. So, this time, I decided to go for herbal.

 Now the concept of herbal is really confusing in all brand. I start using "Patanjali" as it claims to be herbal but still I found it contains few chemicals but that is an another topic which I will discuss later,for now, my thoughts regarding chemical contain on Patanjali product justified as "I shouldn't bother of chemical contain in Patanjali product because firstly a number of chemicals are very less compare to other brands that I used before. Secondly, as the pollution level is so much increased in the environment now anything that is 100% herbal will not work as great as chemicals". 

Price:- Rs.75/- for 150ml.

Coming back to review, It is always a pain to look for aloe vera plant and scrap it to get the gel. For a lazy girl like me, it is like climbing the mountain. Thankfully my search for Aloe vera gel ends on"Patanjali aloe vera gel" which is the most raved product. It is the first product that sold out first in my nearby store.

Patanjali aloe vera gel claims to natural beauty, safety during any small cuts or burns and heal pigmented spots.
The gel comes in a transparent tube with a flip cap opening. It is travel-friendly packaging as no spilling out of gel by pressure. The consistency of the gel is thick and the color of it light green (which is not natural, it is the permitted color). The mild smell of aloe vera gel (I guess it is the smell of aloe vera, as I never smell aloe vera before so can't say surely :P )really soothes my senses. 

The quantity of the gel is although 100ml but trust me it is a huge amount. As very small quantity is required and so this gel tube will last for months. My first tube lasts for 3 months.
The gel is really soothing on the skin. It is especially ideal for the summer season as in winter the gel tends to dry out your skin. So, one has to apply any day cream or night cream over aloe vera gel in winter to stop prevailing dryness. I use this gel as my first base every time I wash my face with face wash. The gel works really well on my skin. It reduces the spot of all acne or pimple marks on my skin. With the continous use of it, I found that my skin is improving. I feel that it turn out more healthy than before.

I use the gel in many ways.

• I use the gel on my cuts and small burns for soothing my skin.
• I use it as cream on day and night before going to sleep. If I feel dryness after the gel is absorbed, I apply any day cream/night cream over it.
• I apply the gel over my any acne or a pimple as spot application for overnight and it dries out my acne /pimples within 2-3 days leaving no mark on my skin.
• In summer, I keep the gel in the fridge so whenever I think my skin is thirsty I apply a thick amount of it all over my face and leave it for hours to absorb it.

 

 

So, here are thumbs up & thumbs down points.

Thumbs up:-

• Affordable.
• Easy available.
• Tube packaging easy to carry.
• Have fewer chemicals.
• Multi-purpose gel.
• Soothes skin in many ways.
• Perfect remedy for acne/pimple in spot application.
• Removes pigmented spots.

Thumbs down:-

• Little chemical, not purely herbal like it claims.

Over in all, I can conclude "Patanjali Aloe vera gel" is a multi-purpose aloe vera gel. If you are someone who is as lazy as me when it comes about "DIY ALOEVERA GEL" then definitely this product is made for you. A few chemicals present in it which can be ignored as nowadays nothing is so called"herbal". I am quite happy with this gel and am on my second tube now and you can guess from it that the love will continue...

Beauty series: HIMALAYA PURIFYING NEEM FACE SCRUB

So after the first post in "Beauty Series" here I am up today with another review from the brand "Himalaya Herbals.  I have already reviewed Himalaya purifying Neem face wash here as the first step of my face care regime. So, today I am going to share my second step of my face care regime and it is none other than a scrub from Himalaya Herbals, a purifying Neem face scrub.

Price:- Rs.130/- for 100g.

The scrub comes in a tube packaging. It has a flip cap to open. One has to squeeze the product to take it out ( I know everyone knows about it). The Himalaya herbals purifying Neem face scrub is one of the most selling scrubs for oily skin. I have seen mostly college goers using this brand. I have seen my sisters, cousins using it. I have seen my friends using it too.

The concept of not scrubbing your oily skin was first to break by this brand who introduce a scrub, especially for oily skin. Now many brands came forward to introduce their range of scrubs for oily skin but my faith and loyalty stick to this brand regarding the scrub from last six months. Yes, I have been using this scrub from past six months and till now I didn't face any problem in my skin.
No, no it is not a paid or PR post that I am keep ranting about this scrub. I definitely believe that taking care of our face, skin and hair is a hand to hand contribution by both from inside by eating healthy and leading a healthy lifestyle  along with from outside to just maintain the CTM(cleansing-toning-moisturising) routine for our skin.

The scrub has very minute particles on it which are gentle on my sensitive and oily facial skin. I have been using this scrub twice or thrice in a week. It has a very mild medicated smell( I am really poor in describing any smell) which hardly persists after wash.
The scrub is actually recommended to apply solo on to our face for scrubbing. But as I am always in a hurry so I follow an easy trick. I mix my Himalaya purifying Neem face wash and Himalaya purifying Neem face scrub in 1:1 portion on my wet palm and apply it onto my face. In this way, I clean and scrub my face at one go.

**Avoid trying out this trick with different brands of face wash and scrub. I follow it because both belong to the same brand.

So summing my entire review "Himalaya purifying Neem face scrub is a very affordable and a worth buying scrub for the oily and sensitive skin." I am using it from pretty long time and I never faced any issue with it. It may not be the best scrub in the market according to many but for me, it is my ongoing scrub nowadays.

 Note: the scrub is meant for oily skin , not for pimple skin. So, don't use it over your pimples :)
