Packaging:- The outer packaging and the cardboard packaging of the palette have the same orange color and the same African figures on it. The cardboard box is sturdy and has magnetic closure in it. It has no mirror and no brush in it.
My Experience:-
The eyeshadow palette is a really vibrant one. Starting from packaging then color combo it wins my heart. The texture of the eyeshadows when touching with fingers is little grainy but they work fine on eyes. Love the pigmentation and these eyeshadow work great with primers. They have some fallout so one had to be careful about it. Overall the palette is really affordable (during the sale) and worth buying too in terms of quality.
So taking a break from lipstick review series today I am up with one of my recent buy, an eyeshadow palette review. JUVIA'S PLACE is one of my favourite brand of eyeshadow. I already have their SAHARAN PALETTE, MASQUERADE PALETTE, NUBIAN 2 PALETTE, ZULU PALETTE. And today I am going to review DOUCE PALETTE, which is one of that palette whose shades are experimental and tricky. A perfect palette for the holiday season.
Price:- $21. Instagram seller price:- 1500/- to 2000/- Approx. Available:- JUVIA'S PLACE website DESCRIPTION:-
A sweet blend of metallic hues and matte shades. A creamy velvety feel infused with rich pigmentation.
Packaging:-
The art of packaging of this palette is worth mentioning. The palette comes in a sturdy and sleek cardboard box with African figures on it. The palette has a holographic design. There is magnetic closure in it. The palette has the perfect size for travel.
My Experience:-
JUVIA'S PLACE DOUCE PALETTE is a palette which has shades that are experimental ones. The palette has mostly those shades which we generally don't reach out on daily basis so this palette is only for an eyeshadow lover who can feel the beauty of this palette and love to create experimental looks with eyeshadows.
The palette has mixtures of 9 matte and shimmers. The texture, quality, pigmentation and staying power of the eyeshadows are too good. The eyeshadows have a buttery texture. They are pigmented so one needs to control the application of the eyeshadows during creating looks. They blend easily and there is a very small amount of fallouts.
Overall I am loving this JUVIA'S PLACE DOUCE PALETTE and yes it is another awesome palette from this brand in my collection.
So that's all for today. See you in my next post. Love Sammy :*
Today I am up for reviewing JUVIA'S PLACE THE SAHARAN PALETTE.
Price:-23$ Availability:- JUVIA'S PLACE website here or Instagram sellers. I personally bought it long back from the Instagram seller (pardon me! forgot the name and the price I paid for it).
Saharan Palette was inspired by the vibrancy and vivaciousness of the Fulani culture.Saharan Palette has 12 beautifully coordinated colors with a combination of 4 matte colors for Transitioning, Shimmery and Satin Finish.
INGREDIENTS:- Talc, Magnesium Stearate, Mica, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Triethylhexanoin, Mineral oil, Kaolin. May Contain Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxide(CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI 77510), Manganese Violets (CI 77742), Chromium Oxide Greens (CI 77288), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Red 40 Lake.
Packaging:-
JUVIA'S PLACE THE SAHARAN PALETTE comes in red cardboard packaging with Egyptian figure on top of the palette. The palette is sleek and the packaging is sturdy. The palette has no mirror or any brush in it.
JUVIA'S PLACE THE SAHARAN PALETTE is the palette which you don't find attractive at first sight neither later too(lol). The shades in it are quite dull and confusing one. In fact, I have hardly seen anyone to pick it. I bought this palette during a sale (quite a good excuse to buy!) because I wanted to try this out and want to increase my Juvia's Place palette collection. The shades in this palette are very dupeable one and I bet everyone has almost this kind of shade in their stash. Moreover, it has no mirror or brush in it for touch -up(okay, I am just putting my point...you can ignore this).
But what I love about this palette is the palette is sleek, easy to carry. The pans are huge which will take years to end up. The eyeshadows are buttery in texture and super pigmented. One hardly need to work hard to blend it. They blend easily and stays forever on your lid unless and until you remove it with makeup remover. And yes, being pigmented it doesn't stain your eyelids which is definitely a big thumbs up for me. Overall I love this palette for its quality and I admit I bought in curiosity only. The shades are quite a dupeable one as I told you earlier so if you have all these shades in the stash already then you can happily skip it.
Hey everyone, As palette reviewing series going on these days and as I am on little break for YouTube now (my voice choked due to cold) so giving rest to my voice and putting effort through fingers let's start today's review. Today's talk of the post is the new JUVIA'S PLACE ZULU PALETTE. The brand Juvia's place never disappoints me when it comes to trying out their any new palette like NUBIAN 2 or MASQUERADE one. All those palettes have awesome pigmentation. So when Juvia's place launches a new palette named ZULU PALETTE, I was pretty sure that I had to grab this colorful one too.
Price:- $17.50 in the Juvia's place website. Instagram seller price:- Rs.1800/- - Rs.2000/- approx.
Availability:- In the Juvia's place website (https://www.juviasplace.com/products/the-zulu-eye-shadow-palette), Instagram sellers.
Packaging:- The palette comes in a white color packaging with a same Egyptian figure on top of the box (which is holographic one) and on the top of the palette cover too. The palette has no mirror and brush. The palette close with a magnetic closure. Overall the packaging is sleek, small and easy to carry while traveling.
My experience:- The Juvia's place Zulu palette is a limited edition palette which is still available on their website along with most Instagram sellers. The palette draws my attention only because of the presence of all vibrant eyeshadows. The palette has a mixture of both matte and shimmers vibrant shades. The eyeshadows are not chalky at all and have a smooth texture which looks super pigmented when swatching with fingers. The eyeshadows blend easily on the eyelid and there is hardly any fallouts. The palette is perfect to create some artistic exotic day and night look. The eyeshadows stay pretty 7-8 hours on my eyelids without any primer. Overall I am just loving the palette. So, if you are an eyeshadow lover and love funky and bold colors on lid then definitely you can check this one out ;)
That's all for today. Until next time... Love Sammy :*

"So many palettes in my stash, a little bit confused which one should I pick...then I thought to close my eyes and randomly pick one palette to review for my blog today"... The winner is JUVIA'S PLACE NUBIAN 2 palette. Slowly and lately JUVIA'S PLACE started winning of heart many. This is one brand that I felt actually thought to work over on shades that will suit dark complexion. Being a yellow strong undertone holder, I mostly crave for shades that are exotic and my perfect exotic shades search ends on JUVIA'S PLACE NUBIAN 2 palette.
Price:- $35 (now in sale, so sale price is $28 in the JUVIA'S PLACE website here ) Availability: - JUVIA'S PLACE don't ship directly to India so one had to use SOFU service (I have given a detailed information about it here ) or you can buy from Instagram sellers who are selling it in Rs.2500/-- Rs.3000/- range.
Packaging:- The palettes come in a beautiful yellow hard cardboard packaging with magnetic closure.
Description of Palette:- The palette consists of 12 beautiful shades. Among these 12 shades, 4 shades are matte while rest 8 shades are metallic colors. The palette is inspired by NEFERTITI, a beauty icon who is known for her beauty, strength, spirituality. All the shades of this palette are perfect to create some classic or exotic looks. The palette is paraben -free product. It is a cruelty-free product too so a big thumbs up on that.
My experience:-
JUVIA'S PLACE is my recent crush brand when it comes to collecting eyeshadow palettes. They have some super pigmented, buttery texture eyeshadows. There is hardly any fallout issues with any eyeshadows which I face till now. The shades are equally pigmented when used by a dry or wet brush. I love how sleek is the packaging it has and so it is easy to carry during traveling. The pan size of the palette is so big that it will last really long then you can imagine. The palette is beautifully color co-ordinated which is just perfect to create any classic look or any exotic look. The matte shades are perfect for the crease and outer corner of eyes while the metallic shades are perfect to create that oomph factor in your eye looks. Overall I am loving this palette a lot and definitely I will recommend it to every eyeshadow lover to try it. The shades might look dupeable but the packaging of the palette and quality of the eyeshadows actually making it different compare to other brands.
That's all for today. Until next time... Love Sammy :*
