REVIEW OF TWO ORGANIC HARVEST SUNSCREENS

Nowadays many brands are coming up with sunscreen.  And so it is really confusing which one to pick and which one to skip.
So today I am up with a brand that recently launched some unique and amazing sunscreen.

Yes, I am talking about ORGANIC HARVEST, a brand that introduces for the first time in India a sunscreen with blue light technology. The sunscreen comes in different variety of SPF factor but all of them have the same "blue light technology" in it.

Today I am going to review two sunscreens from this brand which have same SPF 60 with BLUE LIGHT TECHNOLOGY but made for different skin type. One sunscreen is specially made for ACNE/OILY skin while the other is made for all skin types.

One sunscreen has been sent by the brand for review purpose whereas the other one I received it in my FAB BAG and GLAM EGO BAG.

 MY EXPERIENCE WITH BOTH SUNSCREENS:-

The sunscreens deliver what it promised to be. Both are matte sunscreen for which I can apply it on my face even in humid weather and can go around tension free. As it resists my sweat too. My skin looks fresh even after hours. It blends in my skin so nicely that there is no white cast on my face. The sunscreen which is made for all skin type actually works little better on my skin whereas the sunscreen for oily skin makes my skin little dry. Now, this is not sunscreen fault as I am in my mid 30's so my skin needs extra moisture in my skin care products and as the sunscreen made for especially oily /acne prone skin so it has less oil/moisture in it and so it doesn't suit me.

But the sunscreen for all skin type is my recent favorites and I am loving it so much that I am using it every day under my makeup. Moreover, as the sunscreen claims to give protection from the blue light technology so I wear it throughout the day. And till now my skin looks flawless and it never breakouts.

P.S. I gifted my cousin the sunscreen made for acne prone skin and let me tell you she just loves it as it suits her oily skin so much that now she doesn't want to switch her sunscreen and I guess she is sorted now.

These sunscreens are the best sunscreens that I used till now and definitely, I would love to recommend it to everyone who needs sun protection and that blue light protection too.

REVIEW OF MAMAEARTH ULTRA LIGHT INDIAN SUNSCREEN

MY EXPERIENCE:-

The best part of this sunscreen is "It is curated for India" which is mentioned in the name of the product. An Indian product specially made for Indian skin with all the goodness of carrot seed and Tumeric.

The sunscreen is white in color. It is a little thick in texture for which they require very less amount. The cream spread evenly in my skin without giving any kind of white cast. The cream is perfect for people who have normal to dry skin. As it moisturizes the skin a little bit too. Oily skin people might feel a little oily after a few hours of application of this sunscreen which can be controlled by applying a little bit of compact powder on top of sunscreen.
The brand is really transparent about the product as they clearly mention in the product box that after every 6 hours reapplication of this sunscreen is necessary.
I have been using it from last one month and till now I have no breakouts, neither I feel it is greasy on my skin. In fact, I don't even get tan too. My complexion remains as I applied this sunscreen only every time I go out.

Overall a perfect sunscreen made in India, for Indian skin keeping in mind Indian weather.

The sunscreen comes in a small tube with flip cap opening. One had to squeeze the tube to take out the product. The tube is cute and small and it can easily carry in small purse while traveling.

My first thought:-


There is 50 ml of product which is actually very less in amount compared to the price we are paying. But it requires so less (like one drop for the whole face) that it will last at least one and month or more. So, definitely worth the money.

My experience:-


Kaya Ultra Light Aquagel Sunscreen SPF 25 is a sunscreen which is very light weight in texture. The sunscreen absorbs easily on my oily skin giving a matte effect. It is basically a gel based creme which is just perfect for all skin type (unless you have extremely dry skin in summer). I never tried out any Kaya products before so this is the first time that I am using any product from this brand. I am really impressed with the sunscreen as it is fragrance-free so perfect for my sensitive nose. Secondly, being an oily skin person I always break out whenever I try anything new on my face but this one suits me really well. It doesn't break me out even after using it for past three weeks. Thirdly, there is few sunscreen which oxidizes (yes you heard right...!!!) on my skin very badly and gives a tan look after some time of application but this one never oxidizes and never makes me tan even after 3 hours under the sun. The sunscreen goes pretty well in this sweaty monsoon summers.

Overall I am in love with the sunscreen and I am definitely going to re-purchase it again once I end up this one.

TBC BY NATURE BODY LOTION & MOISTURE CREAM

As soon as the morning start with fog and cold breeze we understand it's winter here and so our skin needs special care for this dry cold winter season.

So today's post is all about my new love for my skin "TBC ALL PURPOSE BODY LOTION" and " TBC SUPER HYDRATING MOISTURE CREAM".
 

Starting with TBC ALL PURPOSE BODY LOTION:-

 

Price: - Rs.125/- for 300ml.

Packaging:-

The body lotion comes in a long green plastic bottle. It has a flip cap with a small hole through which one had to squeeze the product out. The packaging of the body lotion is simple one yet sturdy and travel-friendly.

My experience:-

TBC ALL PURPOSE BODY LOTION is a body lotion that claims to have 'Aloe vera, vitamin-E and cocoa butter in it which hydrates, moisturizes and revives the skin, repair damage cells. Thereby it is helpful in healing and improving the texture; ultimately gives you soft and healthy skin.'

 The body lotion is medium thick consistency but still it require a very small amount for each application. A small dollop of the lotion is enough for each arm. It is light green in color. And it has a very mild fragrance in it. It is very lightweight in texture and is easily absorbs into the skin giving a very hydrating but matte finish instantly. The lotion is just perfect for all skin types during winters while in summers I think it will go well on dry and normal skin mostly. Although the body lotion claim as 12 hr long lasting which I don't agree to some extent as I personally feel to reapply the lotion every 6 hours. The lotion instantly hydrates the skin along with that it definitely improves the skin texture during winter if use regularly.

Over in all, it is a very decent priced good body lotion which hydrates as well as moisturizes your skin instantly. 

My rating:- 4/5.

Coming to TBC SUPER HYDRATING MOISTURE CREAM:-

 

  

Price: - Rs.95/- for 100g.

Packaging:-

TBC SUPER HYDRATING MOISTURE CREAM comes in a big tub with twist up closure. The cream is thick in consistency and white in color. It has a very strong smell of Jasmine. The tub packaging is little unhygienic according to my opinion as one has to dip the finger every time to take out the cream.

My experience:-

As the cream has the thick consistency so a very little amount is required for each application. It melts like butter into the skin giving a very healthy skin finish to dry skin. The cream has a very strong smell of Jasmine which I just love to smell. It has SPF 15 in it for which you can use it during the daytime too. The moisture cream is hydrating and moisturizing to the skin so if you sweat a lot in sun then definitely this cream is not for you when you are going outside in sun. It will go well on dry and normal skin type only during winters while in summers it will go well only with dry skin type. As it is a very hydrating cream it is not for oily skin type people. I personally have a very oily skin which turns to be normal skin tone during winters so I tested the cream on my face too, till now there are no breakouts (thankfully) but still I will not recommend it for oily skin beauties.

Overall leaving the tub packaging I really like the cream. Decently priced and perfect for dry skin for winters of Delhi.
