REVIEW & SWATCHES OF KYLIE MATTE LIPSTICK VACAY

"The color pink matter, everyone looks pretty in it"...So today I am up with a bright fuchsia color lipstick from my lipstick bucket. It is my latest addition and so far one of my favorite pink shade.

I never praised Kylie Cosmetics, neither I shared my experience too much regarding this brand it just that I have love and hate kind of relationship with this brand. So recently I bought KYLIE MATTE LIPSTICK IN SHADE VACAY.

The lipstick is a bright fuchsia shade that draws my attention on Instagram and so when Kylie was having some sale I grab this lipstick from an
 Instagram seller.

Matte Lipstick
The Kylie Cosmetics Matte Lipstick is a smooth and creamy formula that provides full coverage for an ultra-pigmented lip. The hydrating matte lipstick glides onto the lips for a comfortable matte finish. Wear alone or pair with your favorite gloss for a high shine finish.

Packaging:-

The lipstick comes in a cheap black plastic packaging. The quality of the lipstick case is very cheap quality. So it is a little disappointing packaging when you investing so much money on the product.

My Experience:-

The lipstick is totally matte. You can feel a tug on lips when you apply this lipstick. So it is true matte in texture. The lipstick is damn pigmented. One swipe is enough to get the opaque coverage. The lipstick has a cheap plastic smell in it which is really irritating. But thankfully the weird smell vanishes after half an hour. The lipstick stays pretty 5-6 hours on my lips. It is not transfer-proof but it doesn't transfer like insane. So definitely quality wise it is a very good matte lipstick.

Considering the cheap packaging and the weird smell of the lipstick I feel like it is better to grab them during sale only or you can skip it too :)

Hey Guys,

Today I am going to share my thoughts over KYLIE COSMETICS KOKO COLLECTION  product. The collection was launched one year back (supposed to be a limited edition). It is still available on kylie cosmetics website (thankfully, else my review would have no value at all...lol).

The collection has one face palette and four liquid lipsticks. The face palette is named as KOKO COLLECTION FACE PALETTE. The four liquid lipsticks are available as lipstick sets which are named as IN LOVE WITH THE KOKO set. The entire set is available as bundles or one can buy each product individually too.
The Koko collection face palette and those four liquid lipsticks BUNNY, DOLL, BABY GIRL, SUGAR PLUM  are now available as singles too.

KOKO COLLECTION FACE PALETTE:-

The face palette is one of mine favorite face palette.

By packaging wise Kylie nailed the KOKO COLLECTION FACE PALETTE. The outer carton box is white in color with the name of the palette on top of it in gold. Whereas the palette itself comes in a golden hard cardboard with the name of the palette in white embossed on the upper lid of the palette. The palette has a big mirror and it doesn't have any brush in it. The palette is sleek but huge in size. It is a little heavy too.

My Experience:-

Kylie cosmetics KOKO COLLECTION FACE PALETTE was my first ever buy of face palette from this brand so I can't compare with anything similar from this brand. But as I am a collector of high-end brand face palettes I can say from that point of view, "KYLIE KOKO COLLECTION FACE PALETTE is one of her best creation". The palette has awesome pigmentation. The texture of bronzer, blush, and highlighter are super soft. They blend easily on my skin. The only con of this palette is it will be perfect for people who have fair to medium skin tone. On Indian skin, the palette will go perfectly only on fair skin tone beauties. As there is no shades option in this face palette so I think it is the only con of this palette. Otherwise, it is an undoubtedly awesome palette. 

KYLIE MATTE LIPSTICK BABY GIRL:-

From the "IN LOVE WITH THE KOKO set" I picked up only one liquid lipstick named "BABY GIRL".

The lipstick comes in a gold lipstick packaging which makes the lipstick looks so luxe and gorgeous. The wand of the lipstick is nice but as it is little longer in size so I find a bit difficult to line my lips with that.

My Experience:-

"The Matte Liquid Lipstick has high-intensity pigment for an instant bold matte lip. The extremely long-wearing lipstick contains moisturizing ingredients for a comfortable, emollient and silky feel that does not dry your lips out."

Baby Girl is a warm muted coral. The texture of kylie cosmetics matte liquid lipsticks is always good. They are neither too runny nor too thick. But with time the liquid turn little thick then I find it a bit difficult to apply it. The lipstick stays pretty throughout the day without fading or cracking with time. The lipstick fades only if you eat something oily. But if you are little cautious during eating the lipstick will survive your oily meal too. The liquid lipsticks are quite comfortable on my lips for first 4-5 hours after that my lips quench for some moisturizer so I remove my lipstick and reapply them after moisturizing it a bit with lip balm. In that way, it survives another 4-5 hours happily on my lips.
Overall Kylie liquid lipsticks are just like any other liquid lipsticks of Colourpop one with a little better in quality.

The packaging of the palette is super luxury one. The white packaging of the palette is very pretty. And the name "KYLIE" written in gold on top of the palette add the cherry on the top.
The palette comes with a mirror on the lid and a white blending brush.

My Experience:-

The palette has a story, the time the palette was launched all the big YouTubers(mostly) just bashed the palette on internet saying that the palette has weird smell, the pan of the eyeshadows doesn't stick properly in the palette, as they move the fingers on the pan it keep revolving on that place. All the down points were actually stopping me to invest on this palette.
But seeing one of a friend bought this palette I decided to give it a shot. And that was the day...till now I never regret buying it.
The palette is definitely pretty. There is no weird smell in the palette at all (just don't listen to the rumors). But yes few pans in the palette although revolve when you move your finger in it but they stick pretty well in their place and never intend to come out. The shades are beautiful. The choice of shades combo in the palette is just good (again, all I miss a black shade...). The eyeshadows are buttery in texture and they are medium pigmented. The shimmer shades are damn pigmented while you need to work a little bit more with the matte ones. The blue shade in this palette (which always draws my attention whenever I open this palette) has a little bit of fallout but it is also awesome pigmented.

Overall the packaging of the palette is 8/10 as the pan revolve(lol...I am still in doubt that they might come out during traveling) and the shades choice and pigmentation of eyeshadows are 7/10 (as matte shades have fallouts).

Now, this palette is an expensive dupe of COLOURPOP YES PLEASE! the palette that I just recently reviewed on my blog here.

The palette comes in a white glossy color carton box with semi-matte white packaging palette with the signature print of eye that usually comes in Kylie eyeshadows. At the back of the palette, all the name of eyeshadows is written on a silver metallic base with black color. The palette has no mirror or brush for touch up. The palette has a magnetic closure.

My Experience:-
 
The palette is one of my best buys till now from Kylie cosmetics. This was, in fact, my first eyeshadow all from the brand Kylie cosmetics. The palette has a mixture of both matte and metallic shades. All the shades are super pigmented and they had no fallouts (1% might be...). The texture of the eyeshadows are so soft and in one swipe with a finger, it picks up enough color. The shadows are easy to work with I mean the shadows blend easily with any brush. The matte shades work beautifully as they have awesome pigmentation whereas the metallic shades work equally nice with a dry and wet brush. The shadows stay 8 hours on my lids without any fading. These are perfect to apply on lower lashline too as they don't irritate your eyes.

Overall I love The Burgundy Palette | Kyshadow of Kylie and I think it totally worth buying. But as Kylie is expensive in India so you can check out the dupe list of Kylie Burgundy palette in which I think Colourpop Yes please palette is 90% similar to this one.
