Packaging:-

The palette comes in a beautiful cardboard packaging with a beautiful logo of the moon(for those who don’t know, it is Mannymua’s signature logo) and the name of MannyMua in it. On the back side of it, there is a picture of MannyMua (which I just love, love, love) along with few lines of him about this palette.

On the palette the top portion there is the logo of Makeupgeek along with their signature design (like we all know) in rose gold color. On the back of the palette, there is the name of the palette (MANNYMUA) along with the names of shades in the palette.

The palette is very sturdy, sleek packaging. The palette has a magnetic closure which keeps the palette securely closed. There is a mirror but no brush present in the palette.

My experience:-

This is the first time I am using MakeupGeek eyeshadows, yeah I am weird as when the whole world goes gaga over the eyeshadows, I might be waiting for something like this. The Palette at first has mixed reviews, few said it is good while few are quite disappointed with the shades pigmentation and quality. That mixed review was stopping me from buying this palette but as I am a big big fan (as you know all ) of MannyMua and since I am following him from last one year, I wanted to give a try to this palette. It was haunting me every time unless and until I grab it.

According to me, I found the palette is quite heavy due to hard cardboard packaging. The palette is a mixture of all matte, shimmer, and foiled shades. This palette is just perfect to create any soft subtle look or glam and gorgeous look. In short, the palette is perfect for traveling as you can create different look with this one palette.

Coming to the shades, there are few shades in the palette that are permanent in Makeup geek eyeshadow range, while few are limited edition. All the shades are quite pigmented. In fact,, the lightest shade “ARTEMIS”  has awesome pigmentation, it is perfect for using on browbone area mostly or on tear duct area of eyes. The shades “BEACHES & CREAM”, “SORA” and “FRAPPE” are perfect blending shades. The shade “LUNA” and “COSMOPOLITAN” are perfect shimmer shades for eyelids to create day look. The eyeshadows have a buttery texture that smoothly blends on my lids and yeah, no fallouts. I found the shade “MARS” is bit chalky and dry but with a proper wet brush it works awesome. The shade “INSOMNIA” is my favorite shade as it is most buttery texture, foiled eyeshadow. To smoked out everything “APHRODITE” is the perfect one.

So here are the swatches of the shades along with two FOTD (and still counting as I am planning to do more look with this one palette).

 My rating:-

4/5 (may be the price along with shipping in India is a bit costly).

"Overall MAKEUPGEEK X MANNYMUA palette is an awesome go-to palette for Makeup lover or more specifically “eyeshadow lover”. The price might be a pain but if we gave a thought on the quality and pigmentation of the eyeshadows then it totally worth the price. "

So, if you are an eyeshadow lover and holder then this palette must be in your stash ;)

Did you grab this palette? Did you like it ?

That’s all for today, I will see you soon :)

Love Sammy :)

My Black Friday haul of 2015:-

Hey friends,

It’s being long time that I haven’t post any haul post on my blog. So I thought why not I do a small post of my recent haul from last year Black Friday sale. I use to post my black Friday haul post every year but last year I missed it somehow …but better late than never.

So here it is…

I haul from Beauty bay.com where I found that they were offering discounts over MAKEUPGEEK EYESHADOWS and Blushes. The whole beauty blogging world rave about the brand so much that I was planning to grab few things from this brand. But due to sale period most of the eyeshadows were already out of stock at that moment still I manage to grab three best foil eyeshadows of my choice and two blushes.

Here are the pictures.

Finally as it was Black Friday Sale and Sigma always offers free shipping on those days so I thought to grab one blush from Sigma that I was planning to get it from long time back after seeing our cute blogger Deeptima to use it her video. And I grab the blush….here it is…

The entire haul was pretty small than I usually do but this time I found most of the international website are having same kind of offers from past few years which is kind off boring to me. But finally I end up buying my first ever blushes and eyeshadows from MAKEUPGEEK COSMETICS and SIGMA.

I hope you like my haul, and I will be using all these products in my upcoming videos for sure :)
Till then am signing off for today and I will see you soon with some new posts.

Love
Sammy
