I really love Sonam Kapoor"s olive green smokey eye and so I just tried to re-create it in my own way :)

KAREENA KAPOOR INSPIRED MAKEUP TUTORIAL

Hi Everyone,

Recently I got so many requests for recreating this inspired look of Kareena Kapoor. She has been spotted with this Smokey eyes and Nude lips. The makeup has been done by the famous Mac artist Mickey Contractor. He used all Mac cosmetics products to create this look. I recreate the look using only drugstore brands which are easily available everywhere.

Inspired Makeup Look of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan :-

Hey, friends

Today’s post is just going to be a picture bombarded post...lol. It was a long back post that I was holding back in my laptop folder. The purpose of today’s post is as you can see it is an inspired look from a Bollywood actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.


I shooted a tutorial over this look too but accidentally the entire video got deleted. So, at first, I was in double mind to either skip the post and delete it or should I go ahead and post the blog post along with pictures only. Finally my hard work behind clicking these pictures win over my devil brain who was stopping me by suggesting me deleting all pictures and skip the post.


 I created this look by using  two different lipsticks. The purpose of using two different lipsticks for this look is, as it is an inspired look from a particular song of the movie where the lip color of the actress keeps on changing due to different lighting. And whenever it is an inspired makeup look my focus always remain to create the exact makeup look as much as I can. So I use two different lip color to bring those two different look with almost same kind of eye makeup with slight variation ( I found a hint of shimmery green on her eyes in few shots of the song) that has been used in the song.

Inspired look from Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt:-

“You will never leave where you are until you decide where you did rather be…”

 

Yes, it is always a tough and challenging for a creative person to get out from its comfort zone and do something really different. For me every look is a new challenge for me from where am learning something new by trying out something new either in my makeup or in my pose or with pictures. This post is very special to me as firstly, I tried to get out of my usual comfort zone which I never tried before. Secondly, Alia Bhatt look like pretty 20’s [she is young, I know: P] where am heading towards 30’s so it was quite challenging to try to look near to her. Although I believe a woman start looking beautiful only after growing older which I believe I am heading towards it every year slowly, but that is a different topic which we can discuss some other day.

 Shoutout:-

It is an inspired makeup of Alia bhatt from her upcoming film "Kapoor & Sons" from the song "Bolna". 

"What?...you havent watched it yet? guys, you need to see it first to know what i am talking about today..."

  Secondly, I admit am older than the inspired actress of today’s post (am talking about Alia…:P ) so kindly ignore my flaws and appreciate my effort please ;) 
[ sometime it is good to admit your flaws before anyone point you out...lol].

Today let’s focus on my inspired makeup. Yes, I was bit nervous while doing this inspired makeup. No, the makeup is damm easy, infact any novice can do it too. But what I found challenging in this inspired makeup is looking as younger as her (which I am not anyhow…damm, why am repeating about it again and again? look like am crossing century...I guess it’s all about mind game). But like we say “where there’s a will, there’s a way…” and my will power shows the way which I am going to share with you all today.

Let's get into the picture tutorial now… 
                                                                     

-“Why not a video this time?

-“I wanted but a big pimple just below my nose makes me camera conscious and I had to stop myself from shooting …damm!”

Prime my eyes.

 

Using a peachy orange shade as my transition shade on my crease line of the eye. And blend it a little bit down all over the lid.

 

 
Taking a mauvish-pink eye shadow and applying it all over the lid leaving just before the crease line.

 

 
Next I took a black eye shadow and line my upper lash line. Followed by mascara and Falsies.

 On my lower lash line applied kajal. End up using mascara on my lower lash line too.

 

On my lips, I use two beautiful lipsticks from the brand Mac cosmetics (like I always prefer, in lipsticks) to get beautiful pink lips like Alia Bhatt in the song. I dabbed the lipstick a bit with my fingers after applying it directly from the bullet to look like a pink stain on my lips [which although never showed up in my pictures, disappointing?...Nah is happy with the outcome actually ;) ]

The products I have used for this tutorial (Now, don’t run behind me for repeating same brands of products again and again). I am a person who loves to stick to same brand and products for a lifetime unless and until I have been challenged or pushed by someone to try out something new [okay, now you know my weakness, babes…do challenge me please …: P] am I diverting from the topic? Oh yes…let’s back to the list now …

Finally am done with my today’s chitchat along with the tutorial of this "Alia bhatt" inspired look. Leaving you all with my loads pictures of my first attempt at looking younger in my inspired makeup…lol.

Lastly, it was a easy peasy makeup look which you can tried out on daily basis and i guess many of you already tried it. It just that Alia did this makeup in her song so it got a "signature" on it. And bloggers like me easily get inspired by this kind of makeup after a long time of leaving college days :P

Selena gomez inspired makeup from "HANDS TO MYSELF" SONG:

Hey friends,
After a prettyyyyyyy long time here I am back with another look inspired by my famous hollywood star SELENA GOMEZ. I just loveeeee this girl, her style, her makeup, , her voice ...no matter what's going on in her personal life...ahem! ahem....! ;)

Anyways coming back to my today's post...i wanted to do a tutorial look over this look but then i remember that i already did this kind of look before for my channel. So i skip video tutorial for this look. But if you are interested in that video then here it goes...

or you can check below...(the eye shadow base and eye shadow and the lip shade i use in the video is different than the eye shades and lip shade here. the video will give you an idea of my way of doing smokey eyes only. You can do it in same way with all brown shades too for soft look. )

The product I use for this look:-
For face Nivea after shaving balm for men as a primer for eyes and face.
Colorbar makeup stick in shade "au natural" as a concealer.
Mac studio fix plus fluid foundation spf 15.
Mac studio fix powder plus foundation as to set my entire makeup.
Contour by Sleek contour palette a shade light.
Blush by sigma heavenly blush.

Coming to eye makeup.
Lakme eyeconic pencil in brown as a base. Followed by a brown eyeshadow on the entire lid.
A black eye shadow just on the lower part of the eye that just smudged by upward strokes so that it look intense on lthe lower part of the lid while lightening up gradually towards the crease line.
Blend everything with the same brown eyeshadow on the crease line.
Applying liner and kajal on the upper lid and lower lashline.
Finally mascara and false eyelashes.
You can skip the false eyelashes part as per your choice. 

For lips, i applied a neutral shade lip liner followed by a neutral lip shade from Morphe lip palette 10ln (I will review it soon).
Finally, on top apply a clear gloss from the brand "Covergirl" .

Taylor Swift Inspired Makeup tutorial !

Hey girls,

It’s being long that I keep you all waiting for this particular tutorial post and I am really sorry for that…

But better late than never like I always say so here I am up with the tutorial posts…yes a detailed tutorial post for you all as I am getting many request for my Makeup tutorials. I am really thankful to all of you for liking my makeup and asking for tutorials as it means lot to me. I am still a learner and I always try to create a look with those products that are easy to use and easy to grab. It is not necessary to have the same brand that I use for the tutorial, you can always go for as per your choice just keep the shades on mind…

So without much more wasting time …here we go …I although wrote the steps on picture but as the front is short so i am writing it here as stepwise so that it will be easy for you all to understand :)

Step 1: Moisturize and prime your eye lids.
Step 2: Starting with a dark brow eyeshadow and blend it in your crease line with a blending brush.
Step 3:take a light brown eyeshadow and blend it over the previous dark brown eye shadow on the crease. It will give definition to your crease.
Step 4:Highlight your brow bone area with a champgne shade.
Step 5: fill up your brows with a eye brow pencil or eye brow gel as per your choice.
Step 6:Take a golden eyeshadow and apply it on the inner 3/4 part of the lid.
Step 7: take a bronze eyeshadow and apply over the top of the golden eyeshadow on the same 3/4 part of the eyelid.
Step 8: take the first dark brown eyeshadow and create a light "V" shape on the outer corner of eye and blend it with the golden bronze eyeshadow.
Step 9: Apply a liquid black liner on your upper lash line and create the winged liner.
Step 10: Apply a black gel liner over the top of liquid liner on the upper lash line just to create a more intense black winged liner.
Step 11: Apply white eye pencil on waterline.
Step 12: Take the first dark brown eyeshadow and apply just near your lower lash line with a thin eye brush. and smudge it a bit.
Step 13: Take a matte black eyeshadow on a flat slim eyeshadow brush and just dab the shadow throughout the lower lash line with the brush...don't rub, just dab.
Step 14: Apply loads of mascara on upper and lower lash line.
Step 15: Finally apply a concealer on under eye after completing the eye makeup and apply a translucent powder to set it.

For lips:
Step 1: Prime or moisturize your lips first.
Step 2: apply foundation or a nude lip pencil on entire of your lip and fill it.
Step 3: Apply a red lip liner just to outline your lip over the nude lip liner.
step 4: Apply the red lipstick over the top of it and blend it properly with your lip liner with a lip brush.
Step 5: apply a thin line of concealer just as outline of your lips and blend. It will make your red lips more prominent.

Finally I applied pressed powder, blush , highlighter and contour my face too. And am done.
