How to know expiry date of Mac product by batch code:-

Today's post is a very interesting post. I know it is much-needed post for everyone who wants to buy Mac products/ lipsticks either from Store or seller or reseller.

Nowadays blog sale is so much increased and people mostly re-selling Mac products/Lipsticks that people do get confused a lot that whether the products are within expiry or not...

 I am an impulsive buyer and do sell a lot. Sometimes I had to check my mac product/ Lipstick box again and again to remember all the expiry date of products/ lipsticks. It is really hectic and tiring too. So I usually search all the website on google that mostly help out to know the expiry date of my all Mac products. But again if you need to know the expiry date of Mac products/lipsticks immediately you had to go to that site, see the options and choose and decide which is time-consuming.

As I mostly post reviews over Mac Lipstick/ products so I used to get asked by many people that what and how to understand the expiry date of Mac product/ lipsticks if there is no information written on its box.

So, today I am going to share a very easy way to check the expiry date of Mac product/Lipsticks by its batch code. It is a simple table, you just need to remind it once and then you can check your Mac product/ lipstick expiry by just seeing its batch code.

You can find out the batch code of every Mac product either on its box or at its back (in case of blush) or at bottom (in case of lipsticks, foundation, concealer etc.)

Two type of batch code are there, one is "letter-letter-digit" and other is "letter-digit-digit" . Leaving these two type no other pattern of batch code has been made by Mac cosmetics(as per my notice).

Here are the pictures of few mac products with their batch code just to give you an idea.

 

The bottom of every Mac product has a batch code like "A13" or "AB4". So the first letter of batch code indicates the 'batch' of the manufacturer, the second letter indicates the month of a manufacturer and last digit indicate it's year of manufacturer.

Let me elaborate:

The first letter of Mac lipsticks if A/B/C then :
A-means first batch of manufacturer/ batch 1
B-means second batch of manufacturer/ batch 2
C-means third batch of manufacturer/ batch 3

The second letter of Mac lipstick is the name of the month...
JANUARY-1
FEBRUARY-2
MARCH-3
APRIL-4
MAY-5
JUNE-6
JULY-7
AUGUST-8
SEPTEMBER-9
OCTOBER-A
NOVEMBER-B
DECEMBER-C

And the last letter is the year of manufacturer. Now only "4" or "5" means it can be 2004/ 2014 or 2005/2015. So, in this case, to remove the confusion just find out the year of launching of that collection from google.com (if it is limited edition) then you can guess the expiry from that too. 

Generally, a mac product expires after 3-4 years of the manufacturer so from the last digit of the batch code, you can count the year of expiry of that product.

But, if it is from permanent line then there will be little risk if you buy from any seller or reseller as mac do have few hit products from ages. So, in that case, my suggestion is when you can get permanent lipsticks/products from a store then try to buy from there only else buy from only reliable and trusted sellers.

After a break !

Today's post is something different than the usual one. I got loads of messages and emails for not being posting anything on my blog for so long. Sorry for being MIA. And those messages and emails of my readers/friends made think that I should share my reason for being MIA. So starting my blogging fourth innings with a small confession...

The love for makeup brings me into this world of beauty blogging. I love to shop makeup mostly, and whatever I love to shop I love to share my experience. In these three years of long journey, I always try to be the focus on whatever I post. And maybe that was the reason I never hire any guest writer as I always wanted to be the only one who took responsibility of whatever posting in makeupandbeautty.com blog. I confess that my honest opinion in my reviews help me to lose loads of PR, for which I don't regret at all, as I know I am honest in whatever I post. I post only whatever I love to share on my blog.

 My intention is "the few minutes you take out from your busy time schedule to read my blog, gives you the most relaxation, enjoyment, and entertainment through my posts so that you forget your all stress and hard times that you going through". I love to interact with every single reader of my blog personally and that's why my most of time goes behind answering all the queries of my readers/friends (whom I just love and adore). In short blogging is not a business of my passion, it is actually passion in business for me ;)


Why I was MIA?

Recently the continuous work for blogging on the same kind of stuff made me bored and I was out of my creative idea. Definitely, blogging is a game of brain mostly but whenever you claim yourself beauty blogger/fashion blogger I think the responsibility increase a little bit on yourself. As you have to look good always, presentable pictures on the blog and definitely highlighting the best part of you through blogging. I was lacking in my idea, moreover being a wife and a mom of a 4 years old kid my life is a roller coaster. Secondly, my laptop was not working properly and so my phone was giving me a tough time. Both the gadgets were shouting for a repair. So, finally, I decided to take them to a service center and give myself a break of 1/2 month.

What did I do in those days?

Honestly speaking I was doing nothing. I use to spend time mostly with my kid and family and with my close friends. Chatting and watching loads of makeup videos. Spending loads of time in front of the internet for deciding what to shop and what not. Visited my hometown Kolkata in between those days and enjoyed the break.

What I gain/learn from this break?

Well, I gain weight, the love of mom's and aunty's dishes are now showing up in my chin and throughout my body. Those breakouts on highlighted point of face remind me of all those oily foods that I ate during my visit to my hometown. The rough hair or you can say the don't care attitude towards my hair let them shouting that they immediately need care. The tanning of my exposed area makes me remind that I am tone down two shade now for which the newly buying stuff might look odd on me...

I learn, we all need a break. No matter what side effects it brings along with each break but that is much needed. Sitting idle doing nothing gives my brain rest and those dark circles of tiring and due to dieting are now gone. I feel fresh from inside and so I decide I should come back to my world of blogging again.

How to lighten dark underarms or armpit naturally fast at home:-

As the festive season is still going so it is very necessary that you look beautiful naturally too along with your makeup do’s.  I always believe that Makeup is a strong weapon in looking good always but there are many other things that makeup can’t hide. Or it better to say makeup might help to look your face good but not your underarm…! lol

Confused? Well, today’s topic is very interesting one…it’s all about how to lighten up dark underarms. I found it look really odd when your makeup and shoes or jewelry or clothes are just perfect and the very moment you raise your dark underarm it all goes ruined.

Specially in summer when we always feel comfortable mostly in sleeveless but scared to wear it due to our dark underarm and so end up with long sleeves which is really annoying. More over now as the festive season going on we always try to wear something different than our usual dressing. Then why let the dark underarm restrict us to wear certain dresses? The reason behind dark underarms are as they are exposed much to deodorants. The more you using them the more pigmented will be your underarms.

So, today I am going to share few tips regarding how to lighten your dark underarm easily….

1. Waxing is one of the most effective way rather than shaving as it uplift the roots of hair making your underarm look really clean and no illusion of shadows by hairs on it.

2. Lemon Juice is another way to make your dark underarm lighter naturally. It is the most effective way to lighten your underarm as it has bleaching agent. But if you have sensitive skin then you should avoid this step as lemon juices might cause tingling or burning sensation to your underarm.

3. Next is Baking soda…mixing baking soda with water and applying it on underarm will exfoliate the area nicely.

4. Fourth is Potatoes, if you can’t apply lemon due to sensitive skin you can apply potatoes on your underarms as it is naturally acidic and has bleaching agent in it which are really mild…
