As this winter is getting on my nerves I decided to visit my blog little more than usual giving YouTube a break (although loads of videos are pending).

So, today I am going to review one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes from my stash and it is  theBalm Nude 'tude Eyeshadow Palette

The Balm is one brand which has some super pigmented powder products. I already reviewed and swatched the Balm Highlite 'N Con Tour Palette here and today I am going to share my experience with theBalm Nude 'tude Eyeshadow Palette

A gorgeous eyeshadow palette that makes wearing nude eye shadows fun! theBalm brings to you an amazing palette that consists of 12 beautiful shadows that make wearing nudes sexy! theBalm Nude 'tude Eyeshadow Palette comes in a sturdy cardboard packaging. The lid of the palette has a magnetic closure which secures the palette pretty well. The palette has a small mirror and a dual-ended brush in it for which it makes the palette travel-friendly.

My Experience:-


theBalm Nude 'tude Eyeshadow Palette has a mixture of 12 matte and shimmery neutral shades. The palette is perfect for neutral lovers. All shades are super pigmented and they have a buttery texture. The shades are easy to work with as they blend easily. There are slight fallouts in the black matte shade while other shades have almost no fall out at all.The shimmery eyeshadows work good with dry brushes but best with wet brushes.

Previously it was really difficult to get this palette from abroad as Instagram stores charge a hefty amount for this palette. But Nykaa made this easy for us. Now, this palette is available in India. And if you are a die heart neutral eyeshadow lover and looking for a good one then definitely I would suggest you invest your money in this palette (if money is not the concern).

My experience:-
The palette comes in a cardboard packaging with magnetic closure. It consists of 4 highlighting powders( 2 shimmery, 2 mattes), 2 contour powders, 1 bronzer, and 1 blush. The palette has a mirror but it has no brush.

All the highlighting, contour, bronzer and blush powder are super pigmented. The texture of each powder is soft and they are very easy to blend. There is hardly any fallout I noticed.

There are two shimmery highlighters and two matte one. The shimmer one perfect for highlighting cheekbone while the matte one can be used under eye area to set concealer or to brighten up under eye area.The shimmery highlighters have subtle shimmers in it which can be buildable. But no matter how heavy handed you apply those highlighters you will never go overboard (they don't create the blinding highlighting effect on skin). They don't enhance the pores of the skin and gives a very sheen glow on highlighting part of the face. So definitely the highlighters are worth trying.

Coming to the contour powder, the palette has one warm tone and one cool tone contour powder, along with that there is a matte bronzer (yes you can say the third contour powder can be used as a bronzer). All the shades are super pigmented so it is suggested to apply these contour powder light-handed.

Lastly, the blush is a beautiful pink color matte texture blush which will look good on fair to medium skin tone beauties. It might washout on duskier skin tones. The texture of the blush is super soft and again it is also super pigmented.

Overall the palette although named as highlighter and contour palette but it is a complete palette of highlighters, contour powders, bronzer, and blush. If the money is not a concern for you then definitely this palette is worth buying as you don't need to carry any of these separately while traveling. This one palette and you are sorted.

PALETTE SERIES !!!

Hey guys,

Finally, I am going to start an interesting series on my blog and hopefully on my YouTube too soon. From last few months, I was shopping a lot of palettes. Those all are from different brands.
