REVIEW & SWATCHES OF COLORED RAINE VIVID PIGMENTS AND EYESHADOW PALETTE

A colorful palette always boosts me up whenever I check out my stash. and so today I am up with one my recent buy and that too for the first time from the brand COLORED RAINE, their VIVID PIGMENTS, AND SHADOW PALETTE.

Packaging:-

The palette comes in a vibrant sturdy cardboard packaging. It has a magnetic closure. There is a huge mirror along with the palette.

My Experience:-

Before investing in this vivid eyeshadows palette I researched a lot on the web about the reviews and I could not find any negative review of it. So I ordered this palette during the sale from the Instagram seller.

The moment I have this palette I just fell in love with it. All the eyeshadows are matte and they are highly pigmented. Although touching these eyeshadows you can feel these are powdery and few are little grainy. But shockingly all the eyeshadows blend effortlessly on my lid and there are no fallouts. I was really amazed at the quality of the pigments and eyeshadows. The shadows work perfectly with or without an eyeshadow primer. And they stay pretty 8-9 hours intact on my eyelids. Now as this one is a pigmented eyeshadow palette so you can see that few shades might stain your eyelids. If it happens just don't panic or hype, it is very common with pigments. Just apply a little amount of coconut oil on your eyelid and leave it for 5-10mins and then wipe it off with any wet wipes followed by wash your eyelids with any mild face wash and the stain will be gone. So this is the only down point of this eyeshadow palette else there are no other cons.

 This is my first buy from this brand and it didn't disappoint me so definitely I am going to try out a few more palettes from this brand in near future.

Overall I loved the palette. And definitely, I would love to recommend it if it is easily available in India at a cheaper price but it is not so, so I would say try "INGLOT" eyeshadows which are easily available in India and have almost all dupe shades of this palette.

 

The pink eyeshadow use on crease line is from this palette and it stains my eyelids.

Application Tips –  

Always use your favorite brush when painting your mug. Use a regular, but stronger brush to get the most color. For blending, using softer brushes is the way to go. To line the eyes, it’s best to use small, angled brushes.

The palette comes in a hard holographic cardboard box which has a magnetic closure. The name of the palette written in golden glitter on top of carton box and on the top of the palette have the holographic design of eye makeup which makes the packaging of the palette beautiful. At the back of the carton box of the palette there is a message from Mannymua also which gives a personal touch to the palette.The palette comes up with a mirror which has a beautiful design surrounding it and in the mirror, it is written: "BE A QUEEN" which actually makes you feel special like MannyMua itself saying it to you whenever you open it...I know I am getting emotional with the packaging but if you truly love eyeshadow palette's packaging then this packaging of the palette definitely going to steal your heart.The palette comes up with a dual end high quality brush with which you can do some perfect eye makeup as the brush is so soft as well as we can do touch up too.

My Experience:-

Well, I am a big fan of Mannymua. Whatever I learned about eye makeup I learned mostly from his videos. So whenever he collab with any brands I make sure that I grab something from his collaboration and I keep on doing it till now. So when he launched his palette it was definite that I wanted it for my stash.
So the palettes has 14 shades of different finish matte, satin, and glitter. The palettes have 8 neutrals and 6 colored shades which together make the palette so colorful. The texture of each eyeshadow is buttery. And there is hardly any fallout. The eyeshadows are easy to blend and they are super pigmented. Even the shades of blue and purple blends easily which seem little difficult to work with.
Overall I just love love love the palette and it is a priceless and another beautiful palette for my collection.

My Experience:-

BH Cosmetics is a brand that always comes up with some good quality of makeup. I was a die-hard fan of BH cosmetics during my first phase of blogging but as slowly I started to explore other brands my interest in this brand gradually lost. 

Bh cosmetics palettes are actually very good palette for those who are beginners in makeup or who don't want to splurge much on makeup.

The palette at first glance looks really pretty. I just fall in love with the packaging of the palette. But once I open it I was a little disappointed seeing the size of the pan of the eyeshadows. I was expecting them to be a little bit. 

Next, I was happy with the color combo in the palette as it has every possible colored shade that one needs in their life. The palette has mixed shades in it. It has both matte and shimmers shades. I was having a tough time while swatching the shades as few matte shades are hard to swatch on my hand. They are a little bit chalky/powdery and so one can notice fallout too. The shades are not so pigmented and so one had to layer it a bit but without any proper eyeshadow base, it hardly shows on my lids. The staying power of this eyeshadows are really low, they hardly stay intact on my lid for 3-4 hours after which I had a feeling that they lighten/fading up a bit. And every shade over shading another one if you have oily lids.

Overall BH Cosmetics Take Me Back To Brazil - 35 Color Pressed Pigment Palette is a good palette for beginners only but when you are a pro in eye makeup you will ask for more which the palette failed to show.

The palette comes in a beautiful beige color cardboard box. The box and the palette are of same beige color with the name of the palette emboss on it in white. The outer cover of the palette has a velvety finish.


The palette consists of 14 beautiful shades. The box of the palette is sturdy one and it closes with a magnetic closure. It comes with a mirror and a dual-ended brush. The dual ended brush has one side eyeshadow brush whereas another side is the blending brush. The bristles of the blending brush are little scratchy and it picks a lot of product whereas the eyeshadow brush is less harsh on skin and easy to use. The brush is actually perfect for touch up only.

My Experience:-

The shade TEMPERA and BURNT ORANGE  are two common shades that are present in both ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Modern Renaissance palette and in ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Soft Glam Palette. Leaving these two all are totally different shades.

The palette consists of 14 beautiful mixed shades of neutrals. It is actually a matte and shimmer mixed neutral shades palette which is perfect for every skin tone. The palette is perfect for both daytime and evening look. All the shades are super pigmented even the matte shades too.  Even without primer, the eyeshadows are super pigmented one. The texture of the eyeshadows is so soft that they blend easily. But few eyeshadows have minimal fallout which is ok because the shades are super pigmented as I told you earlier. The most amazing part of this palette is that all the neutral shades are equally pigmented like the dark shades. And the shimmer ones are super pigmented.
 
The staying power of the eyeshadows is worth mentioning. They stay pretty 7 hours plus without any primer on my oily lids. After 7 hours there is slight fading and smudging of shades during summer on my oily lids but that can be fixed with a primer and a setting spray.


Drawback:-
 

• The palette is a bit costly when it comes to ordering it from the website as they have shipping plus customs. So in India, grabbing this palette is a bit problem. So, if you want to grab this palette hassle free then Instagram sellers are the good options for you. And if you want to grab it is less price then check out this palette during LABOUR DAY SALE  or BLACK FRIDAY SALE (when they have almost 20% off on selected products including this palette too).
• Secondly, all the shades are pretty dupeable one in the palette so if you can't grab it you can look for the dupes but I admit that the quality of the palette is something that is worth mentioning.

Overall ANASTASIA SOFT GLAM PALETTE is one of the best palettes that is created by the brand. And the palette is permanent one so anybody can grab it anytime. The palette is a versatile palette full of neutrals shades for everyone to create a different kind of neutral and bold looks for every season. I am amazed by the pigmentation of the eyeshadows in the palette and I think this palette is a must-have palette in your stash if you are an eyeshadow lover like me.

Today I am up for reviewing JUVIA'S PLACE THE SAHARAN PALETTE.

Saharan Palette was inspired by the vibrancy and vivaciousness of the Fulani culture.Saharan Palette has 12 beautifully coordinated colors with a combination of 4 matte colors for Transitioning, Shimmery and Satin Finish.

INGREDIENTS:-
 
Talc, Magnesium Stearate, Mica, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Triethylhexanoin, Mineral oil, Kaolin. May Contain Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxide(CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI 77510), Manganese Violets (CI 77742), Chromium Oxide Greens (CI 77288), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Red 40 Lake.


Packaging:-

JUVIA'S PLACE THE SAHARAN PALETTE comes in red cardboard packaging with Egyptian figure on top of the palette. The palette is sleek and the packaging is sturdy. The palette has no mirror or any brush in it.

My Experience:-

Well, I have almost all the best palette from Juvia's Place. I have NUBIAN 2 PALETTE , ZULU PALETTE , and MASQUERADE PALETTE.

JUVIA'S PLACE THE SAHARAN PALETTE is the palette which you don't find attractive at first sight neither later too(lol). The shades in it are quite dull and confusing one. In fact, I have hardly seen anyone to pick it. I bought this palette during a sale (quite a good excuse to buy!) because I wanted to try this out and want to increase my Juvia's Place palette collection. The shades in this palette are very dupeable one and I bet everyone has almost this kind of shade in their stash. Moreover, it has no mirror or brush in it for touch -up(okay, I am just putting my point...you can ignore this).

But what I love about this palette is the palette is sleek, easy to carry. The pans are huge which will take years to end up. The eyeshadows are buttery in texture and super pigmented. One hardly need to work hard to blend it. They blend easily and stays forever on your lid unless and until you remove it with makeup remover. And yes, being pigmented it doesn't stain your eyelids which is definitely a big thumbs up for me.

Overall I love this palette for its quality and I admit I bought in curiosity only. The shades are quite a dupeable one as I told you earlier so if you have all these shades in the stash already then you can happily skip it.
