REVIEW & SWATCHES OF ANASTASIA MODERN RENAISSANCE PALETTE :-

As soon as the cold breeze of the early morning started, we all know that the winter is here....and when it's winter it's all about FALL MAKEUP. And when it's about Fall Makeup, we lean towards mostly bold colors.


Although today's review is all about a versatile palette which is created by the brand for every person so that they can create every look in every season. But as it is a time for fall, so I think this palette is the just perfect palette for fall...yes, I am talking about ANASTASIA MODERN RENAISSANCE PALETTE.

A little info about the palette (from the website):-

Packaging:-

The palette comes in a beautiful lavender color cardboard box. The box and the palette are of same lavender color with the name of the palette emboss on it in white.The outer cover of the palette has a velvety finish.

The palette consists of 14 beautiful shades. The box of the palette is sturdy one and it closes with a magnetic closure. It comes with a mirror and a dual ended brush. The dual ended brush has one side eye shadow brush whereas another side is the blending brush. The bristles of the blending brush are little scratchy and it picks a lot of product whereas the eye shadow brush is less harsh on skin and easy to use. The brush is actually perfect for touch up only.

My experience:- 

I grab the palette from BeautyBay.com long back, when the palette was just launched. As I shopped a lot at that time so I missed out this palette. Recently while cleaning my stash I found out this palette remain untouched from ages. So, I had to take it out for testing ;)

The palette consists of 14 beautiful mixed shades of neutrals and berry shades. The palette is perfect for daytime and evening look. All the shades are super pigmented even the matte shades too.  Even without primer, the eyeshadows are super pigmented one. The texture of the eyeshadows is so soft that they blend easily. But few eyeshadows have minimal fallout which is ok because the shades are super pigmented as I told you earlier. The most amazing part of this palette is that all the neutral shades are equally pigmented like the dark shades.

The staying power of the eyeshadows is worth mentioning. They stay pretty 7 hours plus without any primer on my oily lids. After 7 hours there is slight fading and smudging of shades during summer on my oily lids but that can be fixed with a primer and a setting spray.

Drawback:-

The palette is bit costly when it comes to ordering it from the website as they have shipping plus customs. So in India, grabbing this palette is a bit problem. So, if you want to grab this palette hassle free then Instagram sellers are the good options for you.

Secondly, all the shades are pretty dupeable one in the palette so if you can't grab it you can look for the dupes but I admit that the quality of the palette is something that is worth mentioning.


Overall ANASTASIA MODERN RENAISSANCE PALETTE is one of the best palettes that is created by the brand. And the palette is permanent one so anybody can grab it anytime. The palette is a versatile palette full of neutrals and berry shades for everyone to create every kind of look for every season. I am amazed by the pigmentation of the eyeshadows in the palette and I think this palette is a must-have palette in your stash if you are an eyeshadow lover like me.

My Fall Makeup with Mac Fashion Revival:-

Hello everyone,

Okay this time I am up with my Fall Makeup tutorial in video for the first time ever. Last year i brought Mac Fashion Revival lipstick, the lipstick is a plum kind of shade so every time i used it before it look so vampy on my skin that i decided to not use anymore. But recently during attempting a new Fall Makeup look on myself i found that the lipstick work wonder on my skin. So i thought why not i share a tutorial over fall makeup for all those fair skin tone girls who always wanted to wear a dark shades on their lips but never dare to wear. So,Yes, just few days back I filmed my makeup tutorial for the first time ever (i know i am repeating the word again and again...lol!) over my Fall Makeup...

FALL MAKEUP LOOK:-

Hey beautiful ladies, 

Today I am up with something different look…yes, now a days I am much into makeup looks than on to any reviews or anything else. Blogging was always for me a space to share my experience with makeup or a space where I share my experimenting looks. It was never ever professional…all I started was just for fun but slowly it turn into addiction and now I just can’t live without blogging.

Being a makeup lover I love experimenting with my makeup and sometime it work and sometime it don’t. I am not a professional makeup guru neither I learn from anywhere, I just love makeup and love to play around with the colors.

I saw many bloggers doing fall Makeup look which are really appreciating and pretty. Although most of them are pretty bold and vampy look but I just love it. In my blog I never did something like that and so I end up doing a FALL MAKEUP LOOK or you can say VAMPY LOOK for first time on my blog and hope it is not the last one…lol…

This kind of makeup definitely break my most of the looks that I did previous in all goody-goody pink and orange kind of lipsticks…So thought to share on my blog too…

I create an Ombre dark oxblood red lips with golden yellow and teal blue combination of eye shadow on my eye lids. Weird combination and yes scary a bit too. I found being Indian it is definitely tough to work this look on our skin tone as we mostly have warm undertone and that's why to make it little wearable i keep my eyes simple, focusing on my lips only. Definitely it is a night out look and dramatic too but if you are confident then you definitely can try it for night out party ;)

I have many alternation on my mind but for now just enjoy these pictures and do leave your honest opinion too. I would love to hear from you all :)
