The palette comes in a beautiful strawberry printed sturdy packaging. The outer carton box and the palette itself looks very very cute and pretty. The palette comes with a large mirror in it and without any brush.

Pressed Powder Shadow Highly pigmented shadow that applies evenly and feels ultra-velvety and silky. This long-wearing formula contains a unique combination of softer powders which adheres easily to the eyes, gives a soft-focus effect, and blends smoothly and evenly.

Colourpop eyeshadow palettes are good in pigmentation. The quality of eyeshadows is definitely worth mentioning. Both matte and metallic blends like butter on my eyelids. It is definitely a monochromatic palette and so the looks that can be created by it will be restricted no doubt but still, I love all those red, pink, oranges and golden, bronze metallic shades. I can create some fun looks using this palette. Overall a cute, very pigmented, affordable eyeshadow palette that can compete with many high brands (UD, ABH) in quality.

 

STRAWBERRY PRESSED POWDER BLUSHES:-

 

Moving on to the blushes under this strawberry collection. I picked up two pinks from this range.

Both the blushes are powder pressed blush. They both come with a cute small magnetic blush palette. The pan of the blushes is really big. It will take forever to end up and so I feel it worth the price. \

SHORTCAKE is a is a mid-tone pink which is a very vibrant kind of pink. It will look good on fair to medium skin tones. It gives a beautiful flash of pink on cheeks. It is a daily wear kind of blush. 

 SEED U LATER is a cool-toned, medium-dark fuchsia with a matte finish. It will look good across all complexions. It just adds a vibrant pink blush on your cheek. It is perfect for a night out blush.

 I usually go for matte blushes as I like blinding kinds of highlighters so keeping the balance I use matte blushes only and I love them. The texture of these blushes are smooth and they are easy to blend. The blushes stay intact for hours and they don't enhance the pores of my cheeks too. The silky-smooth powder of those blushes just blends easily on my cheeks giving a flush of pink.

Overall COLOURPOP blushes are my favorite range of blushes and I love to collect them from time to time.

Packaging:-
 
Both the matte and creme lux lipsticks have the same kind of packaging. The outer carton box is white in color whereas the lipstick case is gold packaging with tiny stars on it. The packaging of lipsticks really luxe and classy. The bullet of the lipsticks has some tiny stars shape impression which makes the lipstick bullet look cute. Overall I love the packaging and they are just perfect to flaunt in front of others.

My Experience:-

The texture of both lipsticks is little waxy for which they glide super smoothly on my dry lips too. The creme lux lipsticks are a little creamier than the matte one. But both the lipsticks are super pigmented. One swipe and you will get the exact shade on your lips. The creme lipsticks stay 4-5 hours on my lips while the matte ones stay little longer. I personally love the matte lipsticks more as if I dab the matte lipstick with a tissue paper after application it transforms into velvety matte that stays throughout the day(if you are not having oily food). Both the lipsticks are not transfer-proof and so they do transfer a little bit. The creme lipsticks transfer more than the matte one but as they stain my lips badly so I can carry this lipstick stain for hours even after fading.

In short creme, lux lipsticks are perfect for people who don't like matte lipsticks or have dry lips problem. Whereas the matte lipsticks are perfect for a matte lover. I personally love the matte one more over the creme one.

Talking about my recent pick from Colourpop SHAYLA X COLOURPOP PERCEPTION EYESHADOW PALETTE on my today's post.

The palette that has some golden, black and purple Dalmatians print(well, that is my from my own dictionary of describing the packaging) on the palette makes it look luxe. The palette comes up with a huge mirror and it has no brush. The palette has strong magnetic closure that securely close the palette thus no worry during traveling with the palette. Although the palette is little big but it has sleek packaging for which it takes a small space in my stash.

My experience:-

SHAYLA X COLOURPOP PERCEPTION EYESHADOW PALETTE is a limited edition eyeshadow palette. There are 16 pans of mixed finishes (both matte and metallic) eyeshadows in this palette. The palette looks luxe for its packaging. The warm beige to burgundy definitely made the palette fall into the warm category. The eyeshadows are super pigmented. One single swipe of finger swatches is enough to give you the clear idea of the pigmentation of eyeshadows. They blend effortlessly and I found there is hardly any fallouts. The mattes go easily with eye makeup brushes whereas the metallics go better with fingertips. The palette is a versatile one as some pops of color of eyeshadows that integrated really well with other warm shades. 

Overall I really love the palette and it is my second favorite colourpop palette after that "YES PLEASE" (reviewed here ) one.

Packaging:-

Colourpop palette always has classy packaging. I love all the palettes that I grabbed earlier and this one too. This palette comes in a blue cardboard box with some multicolor designs on it. Both the box and the palette have the same packaging for which if you keep this palette without the box in your stash it will add beauty to its design. The palette is sleek, sturdy and easy to carry. Although it has no mirror or any brush in it which is a down point in packaging. 

My experience:-
 
The palette has 12 mixed shades of matte and shimmers. The shimmers are more like pressed pigments which work best with fingers or wet brush. The matte shades are highly pigmented. They are buttery in texture and so they blend easily on eyes. But the shimmer shades have a little bit of fallout. The palette is basically having a very odd combo of shades for which one might not feel it attractive. So it is a hit or misses kind of palette for many.
As I am an eyeshadow lover and I love to create different eye look so I feel the palette is a hit for me.

REVIEW & SWATCHES OF COLOURPOP GEL EYELINER AND EYE PENCIL "BEST O"

After reviewing Colourpop eyeshadows and lippies now it's time for Gel creme eyeliner and Gel creme eyeliner from Colourpop. I pick up the shade "BEST O"  in Crème Gel Colour and in Crème Gel Liner.

Application Tips 
- Apply with a super fine and firm synthetic angled brush.

My experience:-

The Gel liner comes in a pot like the packaging which is the common packaging of gel eyeliners.
The liner is really smooth and creamy in texture, highly pigmented. The liner just run easily on my dry eyelid. The application is smooth and even. The eyeliner stays pretty 6/7 hours in my eyes. This is smudge proof and definitely one need an oil-based makeup remover to remove it.

Best O Crème Gel Liner:-

Application Tips 
- To prevent breakage, be sure not to overadvance the liner.

- To smoke out or smudge, use a pencil brush.

My Experience:-
 
The liner comes in a twist up packaging. The liner is just the pencil version of the gel liner. It has similar smooth and creamy texture. It glides easily on eyelids and on the waterline. Highly pigmented and stays pretty 6 hours on my waterline and 6+ hours on my upper eyelid. The only drawback is as these liners are creamy in texture so they break a lot if you press a little bit more while applying it to your eyes.

Overall Colourpop gel liners and eye pencils are one of the best liners I have used so far. As these are really affordable in price so definitely I would love to recommend you.
