Review of Gia Bath and Body Works – Body Butter

I am super happy to say that this is my first ever blog post . Difficult for me to put down in words how I am feeling now while writing this post happy and nervous both. You must now be eager to know more how I landed to write blog post, it’s the biggest story to share with you all. I would be happiest person to share it. May be I will plan to make a separate post. This was just that one product that bought my dry skin the needed extreme softness and got completely rid of itchiness. I was so overwhelmed that now I have stocked up 6 jars.

 And how can I refrain from not put down in words about this product which I just cannot live without. Get reading below about my journey with it!

Packaging:
It comes in this plastic bottle with a pump, easing to pump out appropriate amount of product for use.

Price: Rs.750/- with Net Volume 200 ml

Ingredients:

The first thing that I read were truly bonus points which got permanently got locked to my mind; there just cannot be anything best than these you see… !
Not animal tested
Chemical free

Texture:
The texture depends on the place you stay. If it’s humid it turns out to be rich and heavy thick oil; and at cool place its semi thick but once it comes in contact with warm body it converts to oil.

Smell: You can smell pure Waterlilly. There are many more variants available do check them out .
 
My experience and the way I use it:

Being an IT professional wherein I spend round about 9 hours in AC which makes my skin dry and itchy, this product came to rescue me. Gayatri Brown was such sweet and helpful that she customized body butter for me based on the concerns that I had shared with her. Did you hear me saying “CUSTOMIZED”? Yes she did. I was super happy. . The way I use it -

1st [Morning routine]; after shower pat dry , take appropriate amount of product on my hand and gently rub the product between 2 hands(the product gets converted to oil form and will get a bit warm). Now generously apply the product as needed. 

2nd [Evening routine]; after shower pat dry, do same as I do in way 1. At the end pour a mug of warm water and pat dry. This gives the sensation of Spa (u see spa at home  hehe), relaxed and washes of the tiredness that I had during the day. Oh how I missed saying that I get a tight sleep to.

Forever addicted to this body butter and never did I see my skin shouting out I am DRY. One problem that I faced was pumping out the product when the weather gets cool. Bit of struggle to get the product out due to the very thick consistency. Guess what now the packaging is changed and it comes in a plastic container. Do let me know if any of the ways that I mentioned worked out for you. Also, do share with me if you got your own way.

Some might not like it because of thick and heavy nourishing quality, a bit towards oily. But if you can make it work in your way I bet you will not buy any other body butter.

Yes summer is finally here already and the way it already started to make my hair look so dull and dry and damaged that it was nightmare for me. Moreover every time when I plan to grow my hair little long,  at certain point it start to become dry and dull and finally hair fall….But this time I really took this challenge to fight against all the problems related to my hair growth. And my first step towards this challenge is to find out a good shampoo and conditioner. 

There are thousands of brands in the market that definitely claim many things to do with your hair but whenever I look at the ingredients list it really scared me as the shampoo and conditioner are full of chemicals which means regular using of it can cause severe damage to my hair….

But finally my search end in GIA BATH AND BODY WORKS…when Gayatri the owner of the brand announce that she going to launch many new products and among them the most tempted product that draw my attention was her Hair cleanser and Hair conditioner.

 

As I am using this brand from past one and half year continuously so I can rely blindly on her creation. So when she launch her hair cleanser and conditioner, it took me only 5 minutes to decide and order it.

I brought it one month back and I am using it on regular basis and after one month I think it is the time that I should share my experience with you all….

The two lovelies comes in a beautiful pump bottles with lovely packaging. Both the shampoo and conditioner are 200 ml each priced Rs.290/- and Rs.390/- respectively.  And yes the most important part is both are SULPHATE FREE…so yayyyyyyyy, for my hair.

Coming to the shampoo first….Definitely in one word I think it is just AWESOME for my hair. The smell is pretty mild which doesn’t irritate my sensitive nose. The shampoo is white in color and little runny in texture and it require just 1-2 pump for my mid length hair. And yes from the very first wash I can feel the clean hair.

Coming to the conditioner….another amazing product for my hair as only small quantity require to work wonder on my dry and dull hair. Yes the conditioner too comes in a pump bottle thus easy to use. I need just two pumps of conditioner for my hair. The conditioner is little thick in texture compare to the shampoo and have the same mild scent like the shampoo.

As I told earlier I am using both the products from past one month and I can definitely say one thing that these two product are definitely going to be permanent in hair growth challenge steps. As my hair turn out soft and manageable after every wash and it doesn’t let my hair dry in the dry summer of Delhi.

 Now every time I look at the mirror I can’t stop myself touching my hair…heheeeee sounds like kareena saying…lolzzzz but its true… ;) See here , I used just the shampoo and conditioner followed by blow dry. My hair look so healthy and silky :)

My cupcake!!!

I know , I know the tittle leave you in doubt…no no it’s not my birthday…neither of my blog…nope no celebration…it is a fun post !

Yes after spending several months on my showcase I finally cut my cupcake. Yes the cupcake is actually a soap and this beautiful creation is made by Gayatri who is the owner of the famous “Gia bath and body works” handmade soaps brand. I brought this cupcakes just for my curiosity that how it look like , how it will smell and how one feel to touch it…. and all thanks to Shweta, owner of Glam ‘n Gloss who let us know how to use these cupcakes …and yes I finally did....cut my cupcake too :P

The cupcake is strawberry one…the moment I cut it I feel like celebrating something…but oops I can’t eat it …. Heheeeee….

In short I must say I just love cupcakes both edible and these soaps too…: P and very soon I am going to order loads of it from Gayatri once I end up my current stock….

My collective Haul :-

It being quite long time that I stop hasn’t post anything regarding my haul for last few months. So today I am here to share my haul pictures with you all. I brought most of the stuffs from US through my friend Shivani who is the owner of Ordermakeup UK (a Facebook group of buying the makeup stuffs that are not available in India or doesn’t ship to India).

Let’s move on…. I brought a Wet n wild blush in pearlescent pink 5 Mac lipsticks among which only Rihanna viva glam launched in India, Glam is “mac by request” and the rest 3 are from “playland collection” are “happy-go-lucky”, “toying around”, “red balloons” that are yet to launch in India so if you really love the shades then keep your eyes open and grab it as soon as it launch in India  ;)

And next haul is my all-time favorite handmade soaps from Gayatri….whom I think queen of handmade soaps whose soaps tells everything about her effort behind such beautiful creations. And here is the picture of my haul…
