SUGAR COSMETICS POWDER PLAY COMPACT REVIEW & SWATCHES

It is all about the newly launched compact that Sugar Cosmetics launched a few months back.

Today I am going to share my experience of two new launches from SUGAR COSMETICS.

POWDER PLAY TRANSLUCENT COMPACT:-

Lightweight, long-lasting, oil-controlling & providing the most flawless finish, SUGAR Powder Play Translucent Compact is skin-perfecting, suits all skin types and keeps skin fresh all day long.

 How to apply: The powder comes in a compact packaging with a puff for application. Slightly dab the powder on your face to set the base. Dust off the excess properly to avoid flashbacks. Use it as a highlighter on the bridge of the nose, middle of the forehead and chin to add definition.

 Benefits: Used to set makeup, control shine and to give skin a gorgeous matte finish. Can also be used to highlight or for subtle baking. This product requires minimum application.

 Additional Details: SUGAR Powder Play Translucent Compact is a compact, travel-friendly, on-the-go essential for no spillover on application. It contains silica to control shine. Rosa Canina fruit oil keeps the face moisturized. It is paraben free, fragrance free and vegan.

POWDER PLAY BANANA COMPACT:-

A skin-perfecting powder that reduces shine, sets makeup for longer wear and adds a warm highlight to skin. Creates a smooth base, is long-lasting, oil-controlling and suitable for subtle baking.

How to apply: Dust the powder on the face for the perfect matte look. To bake your makeup, dab the powder under your eyes, bridge of the nose or areas which you want to brighten. Dust the excess powder off.

Benefits: With a slight yellow tint to it, SUGAR Powder Play Banana Compact is used to colour correct, mask shine, absorb excess oil and to add highlight to certain areas of the face. It does not give any flashbacks, provides instant brightness and neutralizes ashyness.

Additional details: Contains Rosa Canina fruit oil to provide hydration to the face. A slight blend of silica provides the smoothest matte finish to the face. It is oil free, paraben free and fragrance free.

MY EXPERIENCE:-

Both the compact comes in a sturdy case. The compact itself has a design of the name"SUGAR" all over on it which although vanish after using the two layers of the compact. Both the compact is a hassle-free version of the loose one from Sugar Cosmetics. I like both of them but I have my heart on BANANA compact. The banana compact is a little better for Indian skin than the translucent one. As the translucent one may leave a very slight white cast on under eye area whereas the banana compact blends with ease on Indian skin tone giving a glow. The translucent compact is good for fair to medium skintone whereas the banana compact is just perfect across all skin complexion.

Hi Everyone,

Today I am up with first ever an interesting lipstick. It is the first time ever in India brands who come up with "click lipsticks".
Sugar Cosmetics launched a new range of lipstick known as "Click Me Up Velvet Lipstick".

Price:- Rs.699/- each for 2gm.

There are 10 shades in this range. The shades are:-

 Packaging:-

The lipstick comes up in a pen packaging. One has to click at the bottom of the pen packaging of the lipstick to take the lipstick out. Care should be taken while clicking these lipsticks because the bullet of the lipstick can’t be pushed back once you click to pull it out. So one has to be careful in it. Again this is the specialty of these lipsticks.

Features of CLICK ME UP VELVET LIPSTICKS:-

• 1. The lipsticks are matte yet velvety.
• 2. They’re lightweight on lips.
• 3. The lipsticks have 8-10 hours stay power.
• 4. No parabens.
• 5. Cruelty-free.
• 6. First Indian brand to come up with click lipsticks.
• 7. The shades are ‘go-to’ and appropriate for office wear, party wear, brunches, dinners etc. (versatile shades).

 My Experience:-

These lipsticks have velvety balm-like texture. They glide smoothly on lips. The pigmentation of these lipsticks is medium which is buildable. 2-3 swipes are enough to get the opaque coverage. The darker shades look little ombre kind off on my lips while the lighter shades look pretty well on my lips. The lipsticks have mild rose fragrance in it which vanish just after application of lipstick. Although you can smell the fragrance from the bullet of these lipsticks. I love the shade range as they have every shade for every occasion and for everyone. The lipstick claims to stay pretty 8-10hours on my lips but on me, they stay good for 5-6 hours. After that, they start fading and leave a lip stain on lips. As I am not a lip stain lover, so I prefer to touch up after it fades. 

Overall I love these new "Click me up velvet lipsticks" as these are affordable and almost exact dupes of MAC POWDER KISS LIPSTICKS.
