Today I am up with the most raved palette all from drugstore brand LAKME. I know I am probably the last one who reviewing this palette on the blog. Yes, you guessed right today I am going to share my experience with LAKME ABSOLUTE ILLUMINATING EYESHADOW PALETTE in FRENCH ROSE

Slowly and lately Lakme has improved a lot in their product quality with time. And recently LAKME ABSOLUTE ILLUMINATE AND SHINE collection draw my attention after LAKME 9 TO 5 LIP AND CHEEK COLOR. So, I bought almost everything from LAKME ABSOLUTE ILLUMINATE AND SHINE collection.
LAKME ABSOLUTE ILLUMINATE AND SHINE collection is a limited edition collection and it is bought in collaboration with the famous fashion designer SABYASACHI MUKHERJEE.
Lakme launched two limited edition palettes, ROYAL PERSIA and FRENCH ROSE.They already have Gold and Silver palette in this illuminating palette range (which never draws my attention...lol).
It is only because of SABYASACHI collaboration that tempts me to buy this LAKME ABSOLUTE ILLUMINATE AND SHINE collection.

Packaging:-The palette comes in a sturdy black case with the name of the range on the top of the case while the name of the palette at the back of the case. The palette comes with 6 eyeshadows along with a mirror and a dual ended small brush which is good only for touch-ups.
My take:-
Among the two palettes ROYAL PERSIA and FRENCH ROSE, I found the palette FRENCH ROSE is more appealing and versatile one.So when I saw it launched online I just pick it up without giving a second thought. The palette consists of beautiful 6 eyeshadows that just perfect for every skin tone. There is a mixture of both matte and shimmer eyeshadows in the palette. The vibrant orange, the shimmery gold really draws a special attraction in this palette whereas the brown matte shades which are just perfect for crease line completes the palette.All the eyeshadows are buttery in texture and are medium in pigmentation. The shadows work best on eyelids if use with a wet brush. The eyeshadows stay pretty 5 hours without any primer on my oily eyelids. It is just a perfect palette for all those who love to wear some royal shades gold, orange during any occasion.
Down Points:-
- As the palette is medium pigmented so pro artist might not love it as much as beginners, so if you are a makeup beginner then this palette is just perfect for your practice.
- Another point is all the shades are suitable mostly fair to medium skin tone beauties while dusky skin beauties had to struggle a bit to get the exact color on the lid.
Overall I am quite liking the palette due to its versatility and quality of eyeshadows.
